The staff are all wonderful, and I fully understand that this is a business. However, as much as I care for the staff (and they are all wonderful), I care for / about my Mom first and foremost. My Mom has gone for 4 hours on several occasions with no change of underwear. I have come in to visit her and found her smelling of poop and urine on several occasions (it would seem statistically unlikely that I only showed up on the rare occasion that these things occurred) and asked the staff to change her, whereupon they commented "this really needed changing". I don't suspect she poops or pees more than most. The shower water is cold. So much so that it's a complaint I've heard from other residents, none of whom are either competent mentally to complain about it, or emotionally desirous of rocking the boat. That makes me sad because, these are the very people who we should be looking for problems for before they are reported so these folks can have a spectacular last few years. I understand why this might be: (people burning themselves with hot water when staff isn't around). Another 5 - 8 degrees shouldn't be a liability. These folks aren't products. Somehow, we need to bridge the gap between resident, and cost control, because truly, the most important thing in this equation is always the resident. We can't just say it. I have heard reports that some staff (not all, and certainly not most) are abrupt and rough with these folks. Again, I understand this is a business, these staff are tired and, frankly, doing an insanely difficult job. I couldn't do it. I truly can't think of a harder job on the entire planet and I'm beyond thankful for the ones who do it. I don't believe these events are intentional, and I also know that in Memory Care, every small slight is magnified and some, frankly, are manufactured in the resident's minds. Some, however, are not. It's the ones that are not that I'm focused on. Some of that occurs due to certain personalities that may need a check, some comes from huuuuuge demands put on them for what is ultimately a completely thankless job (indeed, one that staff actually gets abused for). I don't know the solution for this (perhaps more / additional staff), I just know that for practical purposes, these residents are essentially imprisoned. Some of them know that but have no way out of what for them is a nightmare (dementia, age, failing bodies, etc.), some are blissfully unaware, but imprisoned nonetheless. I think it's a fine place. The residents are (mostly) fun to talk to, warm, fascinating and always full of surprises. I think overall (8% of the time), the staff tries exceptionally hard to do an excellent job but, some are stifled by the demand, while others can be stifled by other staff. Not one single job in this facility is easy, and that includes management, and oversight. I applaud them all, honest. I can fix parking lots, I can invent stuff that improves lives and get it / them patented across the globe, but running a facility such as this one....is waaaaaaaaay beyond my pay grade. I don't think I have a better way, nor do I think my ideas are better. I do however, think there is room for substantial improvement. Because, no matter what any other resident has to say....it is all about my Mom. That's what's important to me.... Read more

We toured North Creek during our search for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. It was disorganized. The staff didn't know the residents. It didn't seem super clean. Our tour guide's appearance wasn't a great impression for an older age group of family members to be working with. I told them multiple times that it wasn't the right fit, but kept getting texts and calls from them anyway.
What we really like is the the close proximity to child's house, that is number 1, but the areas they could improve on would be communication, safety, and the food. Sadly, I don't think we would recommend this community to other families. The previous management/sales group has failed to live up to promises it made for my mom prior to her moving in. My mom was also hurt while on property, slipped on ice when walking outside. No signs, no attempt to remove the ice, no apology, and no checking in to see how my mom is recovering.

I wouldn't recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community is very friendly; however, they are short staffed and has a huge staff turnover issue. The food is terrible, and is coming out of a can! It is inedible. The family is providing food to our loved one, because the food offered at the community is our my loved one ill. The housekeeping was supposed to be done weekly, and my loved one was lucky to get 4 times out of the last 7 months. We aren't getting what we were promised and they are not fulfilling the services as promised. In addition, we don't feel we are getting the services that we are paying for monthly. We have been informed by staff that they are sent to different communities and some staff have to travel over 50 miles to get to a location to assist the residents. The apartment my loved one has is beautiful, but it is rarely clean.

The staff is very nice and friendly. They are also accommodating to the residents and their families. The community offers different activities like bingo, trivia, paint and sips, they do socials like celebrations for the veterans Oktoberfest and they have scavengers hunt and so many more activities for the residents to do to keep busy.

I've made some good friends here and finally feeling settled in. Personally, I've had no problems or complaints. I'm very pleased with my apartment. Staffing has been an issue, turnover has been high. But I know that's everywhere right now, in every industry. The food is good quality and variety. They offer a daily special, which is a well balanced meal. Housekeeping overall is really good. The only concern I have is the laundry room, the floor needs cleaned. I would recommend them to family and friends.
Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience, the location was very close to our family which was great and all the staff we met with were nice.
The staff weren't as knowledgeable as I wanted them to be for my loved one's care.
It is a really nice community and the staff members are super friendly but there could be some improvements. Sometimes when you reach out to maintenance for some assistance whether its hanging something up or installation it may take awhile from someone to respond. The meals themselves are good but with the staffing struggle and supple change sometimes it can be a hit or miss.

The staff has been wonderful and very helpful. We haven't been there super long, but they've been great. The only thing they could step up on is the food. It's usually cold, and for what you're paying, it's not on the same level as the other aspects of the community. (I understand they're probably shorthanded due to Covid.)

There is a very good variety on the menu and the meals are great. Plenty of activities provided for residents. The staff have been great even though they are still suffering on a shortage like everyone else. It is quite expensive but it is worth it because of the quality of care. I think it is a very good place if you have a loved one who needs this type of care. I would highly recommend North Creek.

Since my loved ones have been here, they have been doing pretty good compared to prior to being there. There is a shortage of staff; however, this isn't their fault. The staff are friendly, and the responsiveness is fair.

If your loved one is independent living it would be a good place for your loved one. If they need more assisted living, then I wouldn't recommend this community. The community seems to be understaffed; however, the staff that are there are very friendly to my loved one and to me when I call.

It is a great place to live and it is very friendly The food is terribly and they don't provide balanced meals. The food is greasy, dried up, and not appetizing or appealing at all.. I feel they are not responsive to complaints about the food. We chose this company for the value, location, and apartment configuration. I would recommend this community but beware the food terribly.

The staff were very friendly. We really appreciated them. The staff are really great and they was always somebody happy to help us. We really liked that they were on the ball.. They offer many activities and would even send me a text of my mom participating in an activity. We chose this community because the first place I visited, I really loved it, they explained everything well to me, and it was close to our home.

The cleanliness of the community was great. My mother was being very well taken care of. We really liked it! The staff kept in constant contact with me to make sure her care was appropriate. When we visited the staff were always happy and willing to help. The activities for the residents were great as well. The price was perfect for the level of care they offered. We really appreciated how dedicated the staff was to my mother and to her care.

I moved my Mother (90) and her sister (80) into North Creek in Oct 2019. They love their unit, especially the balcony and the large kitchen. Because they eat a vegetarian diet, the kitchen great this a perfect to keep them fed. They meals offered in the dining room are geared to meat eaters so it is great that they have a place to prepare meals. I can bring in groceries and prep them up meals that can be quick cooked or microwaved later. Mother is legally blind, but she has found that the lay out of the building makes it very easy for her to access all that she needs. She feels comfortable making her way around for activities and to the common areas. The staff are very friendly and have done all they can to make them feel welcome and to keep their lives comfortable. We are still waiting for a few minor repairs that need taken care of, but we realize that this is a very busy season all round and know things will be finished when life settles down a bit for everyone. Having my mother and aunt near me has been so nice (only 2 miles from where I live) and I love that I and my immediate family are allowed and even encouraged to spend time with the ladies which has helped them to transition to this new home and new state.
