Independent Living

An Independent Living Community allows residents the opportunity to live active lives while ensuring their fundamental needs are being fulfilled. Residents may continue to live their lives as they see fit while their meals are cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and social activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of a private living space with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between communities, a number of residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always utilize the services of independent health care professionalls. There are an assortment of expenses and advantages to consider while determining an independent living community.
