Overall, I think this is a nice facility. It's a smaller community, probably better suited for people looking for a small environment. With less residents, people here seem to know each other a little better. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and willing to do what needs to be done. Communication with the family is pretty good. Housekeeping is done often and seems to be more than adequate. Mom's room and the hallways/general areas are always more than clean. They just did major remodeling and it looks very updated now. The food is good with a good variety. The activities are pretty average compared to other facilities, but good. Depending on who I was talking to and what they were looking for, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.... Read more

We like TerraBella Little Avenue because the facility was smaller than the other ones that we visited. It seemed like the best fit for my loved one. I would recommend this facility to others.

The staff was amazing. They were extremely caring and built real relationships with the residents. I was welcome to come visit at any time. Any rules they had were to protect the safety and security of the residents.

The people were so nice, it was a beautiful place but the location was further away.
We wanted to move into TerraBella a few years ago but there was no openings so we moved dad elsewhere. I feel like his level of care with Terrabella is top notch as well as the cleanliness of his room. The staff is incredible which is especially impressive right now with everyone having staffing issues. They know who I am and always address me and tell me something about my dad or ask me questions, they are very engaged. I would and have recommended them.

After touring, the problem for us was they were fresh into a management change. They had just been bought out and were going through a lot of procedural changes. I could just tell talking to the staff that they didn't necessarily seem on board with the changes the new management wanted to initiate.
It was a nice community, but a little further than we wanted to be.
The rooms at the community are nice, we had no complaints. While everyone was nice, there was some confusion one more then one occasion about visiting. They are trying trying to adjust the visiting with covid, but not only were the personal visits correct we had a virtual visit that was also not correct as far as time

the management staff was easy to communicate with and was accommodating, we did have one issue and that was with the medication distribution. I would definatly recommend this community to others.

My loved one was in the memory care unit. The Elmcroft of Little Avenue was on the lower range of the price scale. However; the care was wonderful. The nurses were always responsive to our calls and questions.

It was a homey feeling. The community didn't feel like an intialuzied. My loved one loved it here. My loved one was in respite care, and they went out and bought a bedspread, trash cans and other items to make it feel like home. They allowed us to purchase the refrigerator, and even hung the pictures we brought up to him. They put all his clothes away for him, and didn't make him do it. They were able to get him settled in. The community allowed us to come visit with my dad outside as long as we stayed 6 feet apart. The community did a bar-b-que and brought the food up to the residents to still participate in an activity. My loved one was only at this community for 4 days. The community ended up refunding us the entire amount. The community was able to give us a phone number for doctors that make house calls to assist my loved one further. When we were looking for a more of a high care community, we used this community as a measuring gage.

I toured with [name removed] and she was very nice and took her time to show me everything they offered. This was the first community I toured off of a couple recommendations, and they did not steer me wrong. It is a smaller facility and they seem to have lots of activities for everyone. I was looking into Memory Care and the room seemed nice enough. They are on my short list as I have just started my search.

My dad lived at Elmcroft of Little Avenue for a year and a half, and was quite content. I was impressed by both staff and management - they all seemed to genuinely care for the residents. The premises was exceptionally clean, the food was very good (Dad gained quite a few pounds!), and there was always something going on. I liked that residents were encouraged to have meals in the dining room and participate in activities like Bingo or walks in the garden. I also appreciated the monthly family dinners and invitations for family to join in outings and in-house events. Elmcroft is small enough to feel homey, but large enough to allow residents to have guests without feeling crowded. It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth every penny.

I recently moved my mom to Elmcroft and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience has been. The staff is caring and professional. They have truly gone out of their way to make mom feel welcomed and loved. The communication between staff and family has been exceptional! Mom’s room is clean, bright and cheerful. Best of all, mom tells me not to worry about her because they are taking very good care of her at Elmcroft!

Initially appears to be a beautiful quant community. Once inside community is very dark and dim. Not well lit at all, which makes it appear old and dated. I’m some areas of the community it smells pretty bad. The memory care is beautiful, but the residents are all in wheelchairs with very little activity. As you walk through the community the staff appear to be friendly, however it doesn’t appear genuine. They seem to pick the nicest rooms to show you, and won’t show you what you’re really getting. Administration is not very professional. The marketing person is friendly as well, however she tries too hard. Coming across as if she would just like to make a sale. Overall, definitely not one of the best communities around.

The time came where our dad needed more care than we could provide. We toured many places...some very, very nice, and some not so. When we got to Elmcroft we felt it provided more of a "home" atmosphere for him. It is a little smaller than most assisted living homes that we toured, the staff is friendly and helpful and they KNOW each person there. Dad quickly found the "lay of the land" so he could move around and get to places he wanted to be. There are outings and games, church services and exercise classes, family dinners and special programs...a bunch to do - but mainly it is "home" to him now. Family is ALWAYS welcome to visit or come for lunch or dinner. Every question is answered and every person cared for. We are very happy with Elmcroft and the best part is that Dad is happy there too.

The best so far of those I visited. Small number of residences so personalized care is assured. Memory care attached to the same building. Pricing more in line with what we can afford. They have a wait list policy which assures a place but refundable if circumstances change. Also no separate medication fees.

Memory Care had a strong odor of urine. The Assisted Living area was beautiful and clean.

We regret you did not fully experience this. Please know we truly value your comments, it's paramount to helping us better serve future residents and families.
I had a good tour of the community and I got to see the apartment they offered. It was too small for a walker to be used. It came with a small area for the kitchen. It had a microwave and a tiny mini fridge. It was not a good fit.

I recently had taken a tour of this community for my loved one and I have no complaints of how things went. The staff where very knowledgeable on all of there information and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. The floor plan was open and they had a lot of great features throughout the property. It was just not the right location in the end decision.
