The services provided often include help with activities of daily living. Residents may be kept under observation and assessment. These provisions include staff may place containers within reach, staff may observe and record medication side effects, and residents may self-direct administration of medications. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include all snacks and meals must meet the recommended dietary guidelines of the National Academy of Science, provide snacks between meals and before bed, staff responsible for food prep/service must have knowledge of resident nutritional requirements, and provide three or more meals a day.
