Assisted living facilities offer apartment style housing and social interaction as well as individualized assistance. Assisted living facilities frequently offer opportunities for recreational activity, aid with transportation and appointments, and care supervision. These areas include Administrators must complete 6 hours of continuing education each year, basic first-aid, identifying and reporting abuse, neglect and exploitation, and 19 years of age.
