Warm greeting by [name removed] and [name removed]. Happy Hour happening in main lobby with music and lots of residents present. Met the activity director - super nice and enthusiastic. Room was nice. Nice to talk to [name removed] who would assess mom and make her care plan. He said he could come see mom at the group home to assess to see if they fit her. Only one to say that. They have both a hoyer lift or 2 person transfer - whichever mom would prefer. They also have a shower wheelchair. Average wait time on call buttons is no more than 3 minutes. Sante has a rehab room on site.

We chose Orchard Pointe because the sales representative was super friendly and some of the stuff she did in the tour was impressive. We also really liked the cleanliness and we were able to talk some of the residents who live there and they were all happy. They have been great with communication, they email us with updates about the community regularly. It has been a good experience I would recommend.

I would recommend this community to others.

This is a nice, comfortable place. We liked the layout and the fact that garages are available. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

We placed my mother on August 5, 2019, after she was removed from another community. My mother passed away on August 25, 2019. We were not pleased with the care she previously received. Our decision to move her was an excellent decision. The staff was superior. Mom was in memory care, and she was an exiter, someone who constantly sought to return to her home, the home of her childhood. Staff was patient, kind and attentive. Mom wanted nothing but to go home. Her dementia caused behavioral issues but the staff understood and worked with her. They accepted her disease and worked to make her time better. Mom fired them, she told them she owned the building yet they respected her and met her where she was in her disease. They didn't mock her or make fun of her disease or its symptoms. She was always clean. She liked the foods they prepared. The building had no odor. She received her medications in a timely manner, and her room was cleaned. Everything they did they focused on her comfort. Most importantly they didn't treat her as a victim of Alzheimer's but a person, as a mother, a friend. Our family only has good words for this community. They told us they understood the disease process, and they did. Her last days were filled with kindness, compassion, and dignity. I wish we would have placed her there sooner. It is wonderful, the administrator (Melissa) and her team deserve accolades for delivering on their promises.

The entire staff is dedicated to the well-being of their residents. My father was reluctant to leave his home after more than sixty years. It was the best move he could have made. I believe it has added years to his life.

My mom has lived here for 5 years and has loved every moment of it. She started in independent living and has since transitioned to the assisted living area of the building. She loves being under the same roof as all her friends while still being able to receive the help she needs with daily cares. The chef makes great food and is always open to suggestions. The low staff turnover has really allowed us to make connections with everyone caring for my mom on a daily basis and given our family peace of mind.

Fountain View has been a wonderful place for my dad! He originally moved into their independent living but recently transitioned over to assisted living. He has loved both apartments and since they are in the same building, he still sees all of his same friends and neighbors. The staff is always willing to help us or answer our questions, and I'm never nervous to leave dad in their care. The food is amazing and definitely not what we expected- we love that dad gets served as if he were in a restaurant! What dad has loved most is the friends he has made over the years and how at home he feels.

Fountain View was a lovely place from our initial tour to move-in day for my mother. She is very independent currently, but we like the option they have for assisted should she need it in the future. Everyone is very helpful and they provide a lot of services-- [name removed] is their Nurse Liaison who is a BIG help. Even though mom is independent, [name removed] can check on her if she isn't feeling well or help her schedule doctor's appointments. Such an added bonus as it provides so much peace of mind for us. We hope mom can stay here for many fun-filled years!

First, Mom enjoyed independent living at Northern Hills. When she needed more care, she moved to assisted living. The staff is very competent, caring, and friendly. We also enjoy walking in the beautiful courtyard whenever the weather permits. Mom has been in other facilities and we have found Northern Hills to be the best. Her room is bright and cheery, and she is staying mobile.

We are happy with the care here for my brother. The community is clean and the staff is friendly and very attentive. The menu needs to make some changes in the variety and preparation of the meals.They offer a lot of activities that he participates with residents from time to time. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved.

Tanis was a nice community, we were going to move in but they did not have a studio available at the time. The staff was caring and nice to answer the questions. They offer a lot of great meals that would have been a good variety. The community is very clean and maintained. The care and value would recommend for other families for the care of

At the time I was looking for a respite stay. The tour I had was good. It was an nice but they can do a few updates to look nicer. While I was touring, I noticed the residents were all mixed together. This was not what I was looking for.

My other is really enjoying her stay at this community. I like that they all got to know her in such a short period of time. The office staff is always available. If I wanted to talk to RN, I just walked in there. The entire place is kept clean. The meals are great, my mother really likes them and so do the other residents from what I have heard. The staff really encourages my mother to join activities, they go to her room and get her for exercise programs, bible study, any anything else they have going on.

I truly cant thank this community enough for what they have provided for my mom they have been amazing in all aspects. The nursing staff from day one has always remembered my name and kept me very informed on what was going on . They are very attentive to my moms needs, especially nurse [Removed] and her assistant [Removed]. The food they provide is wonderful ,proportioned, and healthy. The apartment is beautiful with lots of great amenities. Lots of activities throughout the day go on and family is always included . I can't say enough good things about this facility and highly recommend it .

The staff & facility are wonderful at Fountain View. Mom is struggling with memory issues at age 92 & hated her lonely isolated life in her independent senior apartment. She knew that we needed to make this move but was crabby! After 2 weeks she is calming down & starting to fit in & participate in some of the many activities available. They are going to try to start a domino train group to please her! I am so relieved to have a dedicated RN on staff and an RN to accompany her to Dr appointments to be a liaison for Mom, me, and the Dr!!! Thank you George & staff for helping our family adjust to moving & making this positive but difficult life change. The rates here are competitive but I rated them down a bit because it seems expensive for a family to afford assisted living.

Mom has lived at Orchard Pointe for 8+ months. She adjusted very quickly and loves the staff, activities, her apartment and the food. My sister and I are very pleased we chose this place. It really feels like home to her and to us. Terrific caregivers and activities staff!!!

I have been pleased with the care my mom has received. She is safe, well cared for and under the watchful eyes of the staff. Any concerns I have had were addressed professionally and in a timely manner. The food has improved, activities are appropriate for her and her apartment is well maintained. Kudos to the staff for continuous communication and monitored care. I would recommend families look into this facility.

My folks moved in 2 weeks ago. We have really seen a change in my mom, she is participating in all the activities and just loves the socializing. They both can't say enough about how good the food is. My dad is enjoying the fitness area and the view off of his patio as well. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They moved from a home they lived in for 30 years so we thought the transition might be difficult, but they are so happy they made the move to Ridgewood.

Orchard Pointe is very clean and the people are friendly. It's a very nice place, the grounds are kept up very nicely and it's very inviting. My father-in-law likes it there. He likes to take walks around the community. Things are going smoothly. The nurse is competent. He had to go to the hospital for a couple days and they kept us updated on what was going on. He likes to participate in their exercise activities. The food is pretty good, we have eaten with him there a couple times. He would prefer to make his own food or home cooked meals, but it is fine. It's nice to know he is being watched there.
