Very clean and a kind, helpful and friendly staff. New construction, great reviews, and the administration is also.

This facility was built and designed for people with memory loss. No detail was missed. This facility was in western Iowa and was the only facility that catered to this specific issue .Our coordinator with A Place for Mom was amazing. He listened to our concerns and what we were looking for and he contacted all the available facilities in the location we specified. Before we received the email with the locations they had all called me. He also checked on us several times following the placement of my father-in-law. I would recommend "A Place for Mom" to anyone and everyone!

I visited a bunch of places and this community is better than all the rest. All other places that I have seen are like prisons for old people. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are also very accommodating . For their food, they give my grandmother a menu that shows what they are going to serve that day . If she doesn't like whats being offered she could request something different. We all ate there the first night moving her in and the only thing my grandmother has to say about it is that it can be a little bit hotter. However they are very generous with their portions, they give her plenty of food that they are serving. I definitely recommend this place to others because what really sold it for me is that they have private rooms and their own bathrooms. They also offer basic social activities such as bingo, card games, and dominoes.

I like the care at this community. The staff are caring and attentive. This community is clean and a positiive. The meals are good and they offer a nice variety. They do offer alot of nice activities for him to stay active. We would recommend the care and the value to other looking for a excellent care for a loved one.

I feel that my dad is safe in his community and getting the right care. My dad seems to like the food, he eats with no problems. There are activities available. The facility is always clean. I would recommend this community to family and friends.

All is going well at Hansen House. We didn't use A place for mom to find the facility, my brother found it. Nevertheless all is fine there.

Very impressive new facility.Small and informal. A number of family members spending time each day to brighten the day for the residents. Felt this would be a very good choice for my mother.

Looks like a ton of activities, pretty outdated in terms of rooms, etc.

My dad is doing very well since moving here. He really likes the residents he has already made some friends. He is doing some of the activities. He is really liking the food which was a concern in the beginning but that has worked out well. The staff is very good they are polite and friendly very nice. We would recommend this community.

My parent is getting very good care at this home. They are really happy and they tells us several times, this is the next best thing and knows they need to be here. They really like the attention they get, there are not that many residents living here. 3 meals are served a day and my parent likes the meals. The staff are friendly and set up many activities. My loved one really likes to play bingo and domino. The home also has services once a week. We wanted something closer to us so we can visit more often and it makes a big difference for the rest of the family to visit too.

I thought that this house was reasonable and had a lot of great things they offered my loved one. They offered one on one care as well as different activities throughout the week for the residents. All of the residents had there own rooms and there was different layout options. Unfortunately he did not stay at this house for very long they could not provide the care he needed.

This is a wonderful care home. Everyone is very professional and kind. The staff was informative and knowledgeable.
