Sanatoga Ridge Community
2461 E High Street Pottstown PA 19464
When people think about 'retirement communities' or 'senior living' they often focus on things like age, downsizing, loss of independence, loss of life long memories, or institutional living. We conjure up in our minds images of feeble old people, assisted living, & nursing homes. This generally solicits comments such as 'I'm not ready yet.'
In most cases, this comes from a misunderstanding of the lifestyle offered at SRC. Our focus is on LIVING. Our community provides the service enhancement & support to do just that.
SRC is located at 2461 East High Street in Lower Pottsgrove Township located on the 422 corridor, with easy access to Philadelphia, Reading, Lancaster & the Jersey Shore. The location of our neighborhood is chosen specifically for its proximity to important area amenities & medical facilities.
All Residents at SRC must be 55 years of age & have no children living with them.
SRC is based on contractual ownership (Occupancy Rights), which is a legal form of ownership. Typically, contracts are based on a 90% or 100% refundable Occupancy Rights Fee. In a financial hardship, this Occupancy Rights Fee can be used to pay your monthly fees giving Occupancy Protection for all our residents.
SRC consists of townhomes & apartment homes. We offer flexibility in design, occupancy rights, maintenance & service to fit a variety of lifestyles. We have an assortment of floor plans all of which can be customized internally to meet your specific requirements.
Our monthly community fee includes facilities & amenities at the Community & Recreation Centers, in addition to taxes, insurance, sewer, water, trash/recycle, all grounds care, all snow removal (including cleaning off your car), all maintenance inside & outside, & a 24 hour first response system.
Unlike other mature adult lifestyle communities, we have very few rules & regulations to follow. Pets are permitted, visitors (including grandchildren) can stay overnight, & you can express yourself with window treatments or yard decorations.
While we are not a gated Community, we are a secure Community with staff housing on-site. Also, a 24 hour emergency first response system is in place in each home giving a direct connection to a staff member at all times.
If this sounds like the place for you but you are not sure how to start the process of relocating to SRC, Distinctive Realty by Design (DRBD) has the answers to all your questions. DRBD is an exclusive process that helps you get from your current home to our Community. Your biggest decision is to make the commitment to move with us & place a deposit. From that point on, we are right by your side every step of the way. A team assessment & plan for your home is performed by our team. The plan along with a financial review is done to ensure you are comfortable with your decision. If you are, we help with deferred maintenance, staging & preparing your home for the market, packing/unpacking, floor plans, selling your home & moving. However, should you not be comfortable with your decision, your deposit is returned to you in full.

My wife and I are both able to care for ourselves at this time. We are looking to the future to see options for having food provided and personal care if required. We also don't want to live in one room...
The Community offers only emergency services and no meals. If you need assistance you have to bring in outside third parties. You have to "buy" the unit you live in. You never own it but you pay...
