I live here
I live here and I am glad that I do. Everyone is very friendly and the place is clean. Staff cares. There is always something to do or someone to talk to or if I want to be alone I can do that too. My apartment is just wonderful. The food is pretty good too.

I live here
I live here and I am glad that I do. Everyone is very friendly and the place is clean. Staff cares. There is always something to do or someone to talk to or if I want to be alone I can do that too. My apartment is just wonderful. The food is pretty good too.

Wow! Blown away
I had an amazing tour with [name removed]. She was very informative. The community is so clean and beautiful yet feels homey and inviting. All of the staff were very nice and some of them came out to welcome me. I had a positive experience with several residents too. They were having lunch which looked and smelled amazing. An unlimited coffee and juice bar and amazing activity calendar. A few days later the Director [name removed] even called and chatted with me for almost an hour.

Overall nice
My tour with [name removed] was great. She was very informative. I also talked to the director who was extremely welcoming. The decor is a bit dated but understand they are going through a remodel. I am an artist and sad that the Activity Schedule seems to be all about educational programs, church, or self led activities. BORING!! At my place now our Activity Director paints with me at least once a week and I’m not left alone to do “adult coloring” on my phone. The Director did tell me they are planning to have more creative spaces and a room in the near future. I will tour again then everyone seemed lovely

I would appreciate some kind of input as to how my loved one is adapting (or not) to the day to day routines. We live out of the state so don't get there often. I guess it's my responsibility to inquire.
Also, they will be installing WIFI in the near future. It would be great to have a tech person in house to help residents set up their email or whatever. Even TV can be confusing for some, depending on which services they have.
Staff and residents are open and friendly. Food is very good. Services are available if the person feels confident or is aware enough to ask.
It would be nice to have some newbie tutorials or meetings with set topics. They do have meetings for new residents but the residents are responsible for bringing up the topics. I think if they're new, they may not know what they don't know. And maybe include a relative where possible.
I should add that the residents are assigned a buddy (resident who has been there awhile). The resident was really sweet but my loved one was not very responsive. My loved one didn't want to move out of their home.

My Tour Experience at Hart Park Square
Hartpark all too many restrictions. For patio rooms you couldn't have bird feeders. It felt more like a drab hospital setting than an exciting place to live.

My tour experience
I left this tour with a feeling of "Meh." The person who led our tour was great. He did a really nice job, but the building overlooked the city utility yard. And I thought it would be really loud in the early morning hours, which I didn’t know that my loved one would like. So location was definitely an issue here.

Review of Hart Park Square
Two years ago I chose to make Hart Park Square my home when moving here from out of state to be near family. My family and I visited many senior housing facilities in the area. When the door was opened to the first apartment here I actually said "Wow". The apartment has large windows filling the rooms with light and sunshine. I has many floor plans to chose from and a friendly, professional staff making it my home.

My mother in law has lived at Hart Park Square for over two and a half years. Hart Park is a very wonderful, caring home. I have worked closely with the administration and nursing staff. They are always open and willing to discuss my mother in law's needs. I always feel confident that she is well cared for. The entire staff is very kind and patient. My mother in law's apartment is clean and bright. The dining room is lovely and the food is delicious.

Good place to live
The setting along the Menominee River is lovely, but not so remote that you’re out of the surrounding community. My apartment is roomy and light-filled. The exercise opportunities are particularly informed and numerous. Programs provide intelligent and entertaining activity, and the management is very caring.

I would recommend Hart Park

extremely helpful
I was at Hart Park Square for a total of four days so my exposure was somewhat limited but during that time it was very good. Every staff member seemed to genuinely care about each of the residents. Everyone there, from the caregivers to the maintenance personnel, is very friendly and extremely helpful.
