Who We Are
A Place for Mom is proud to be the nation's largest senior living referral information service.
The company was established in July 2000 based on the founding principle of delivering best-in-class personal and professional assistance to families in search of
senior care options. For nearly 12 years the company has supported this principle by providing one-on-one support to seniors and families in need, and offering
comprehensive resources about senior care and housing options. Today, we help nearly 150,000 families a year.
The corporate office for A Place for Mom is located in Seattle, WA and we have hundreds of Senior Living Advisors living and working across the United States, including every major city.
Why We Are Different

Our knowledgeable and compassionate Senior Living Advisors are easy to talk to about any family situation and can answer a wide range of questions about senior care.
The role of the Advisor is to provide seniors and families with comprehensive information, resources and one-on-one personal assistance, which empower them to make informed decisions about their senior care and housing options. These options may include assisted living communities, independent living communities, Alzheimer's, dementia and memory care, nursing homes, respite care, retirement communities, residential care homes, home care, and hospice care.
With a nationwide network of more than 18,000 providers of senior living services, A Place for Mom is a time-saving resource families can trust to help find appropriate living options for loved ones. Senior Living Advisors live in the region they serve and are able to provide an insider’s view on the local care options as well as best practices for making a smooth transition to a senior living community.
How We Are Paid
A Place for Mom is paid by participating communities and providers, therefore our valuable, personalized service is offered at no charge to families.
