Since Cogir took over from Brookdale in 2019, the entire place; management, staffing, care, building upkeep and especially dining services and food quality have plummeted. It is very near a disaster at this point and can not recommend anyone moving in to expect any level of care, let alone a meal from this place.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
We just moved my 93 year old dad to Cogir based on the information we got from APFM. Cogir made it very easy to move dad and assured him he can keep his cat which is why we had to move him from the previous retirement community. He is so very happy which makes me happy! His new apartment is very affordable and with the addition of the assisted living I am confident that he is receiving excellent care. It is light and bright and includes a view of the Space Needle!! Everyone has been extremely friendly and all of the staff I have interacted with all know who my dad is even after a few days there. I am pleased to see the Corona virus precautions they are taking as well as providing us time to set up his new place. We will be able to visit him as often as we would like with masks on and a good physical distance. He has not been there long enough yet to partake in all of the opportunities they offer, but I have signed him up for an Octoberfest lunch and look forward to seeing how that goes.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
