Milford is a small town located on the banks of the Little Miami River in the Cincinnati metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1796 by a Revolutionary War verteran, and numerous archaeological discoveries have been made within the city limits that span back to the pre-Columbian era.

Seniors looking for a nice afternoon on the town will enjoy shopping and dining at the many family-owned businesses that make historic downtown Milford so charming. The residents of Milford have a strong sense of community, and the town loves to hold festivals and holiday celebrations. There are three main festivals in Milford: the main city fair, Milford Frontier Days; a yearly craft festival known as Art Affaire, and the week-long Halloween Block Party.
