Carpets are quite stained and walls pretty dinged up. All of this is normal wear and tear. I would recommend a more modern color pallet going into the future. Other places I saw were a little more tidy and new but villa provided more room square footage. \nQuestion 6: We are new to assisted living. My mom was in independent before for 4 years. She is used to more mind games and competition. She misses intellectual stimulation. She is quite unhappy there. She doesn't think she belongs there. Management helped me to understand that this is a normal reaction to age progression.
