This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as provider must ensure that the resident and the resident’s representative, if any, are informed of the potential consequences of activities that the provider considers to pose risks to health and/or safety, assessment must be updated by a physician annually or upon a significant change in condition, A comprehensive assessment, and evaluation of a prospective resident’s cognitive condition. This type of community is required to offer a number of services. These include security, non-medical services, housekeeping, and medication administration. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include communities must provide three daily meals. Staff must obtain training in a variety of areas. These include: choice, resident rights, job responsibilities and limitations, and infection control. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include only a licensed health care professionall employed by the community may administer medications, supervision of self-administered medications, and medication reminders. Public assistance is available through A Medicaid 1915(c) waiver called the Supported Living Program and a 1915(b) waiver called the Managed Long-Term Services and Supports program.
