We moved my mom into Wellington Bay assisted living in December after my dad passed away and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. It was an adjusted for mom being in a new place and it did take a couple of months for her to acclimate to a new community but now she is doing beautifully. Wellington Bay is a new and fresh community that is extremely well maintained. From the moment that mom moved in, she was welcomed by [name removed], [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]who went above and beyond to have mom feel comfortable. Now that she’s lived there for almost 6 months, mom is truly enjoying living at Wellington Bay. [name removed]continues to go out of her way to make sure that there are always new and fun activities for the residents to participate in. The nursing and staff aides are wonderful and are always willing to help the residents when they can. Special shout out to [name removed] and [name removed]! THANK YOU to all of the administration, nurses and staff!

One of the hardest decisions to make is finding the proper residential facility for your parents. The experience with Wellington Bay has exceeded my expectations. Our first visit was to view the property, meet staff and become educated on the parent company and their values. At no time did we feel pressured to make a decision. We had the opportunity to bring my parents for a visit, meet the staff, residents and enjoy a meal. Before signing a lease, all fees were explained, to include any services that may be an additional charge. We have always found all the staff to be attentive, kind, friendly and engaged with the residents and their families. They strive to provide activities so the residents have interaction and also plan outings for all the residents. Nurses, CNA's and Physical Therapy is available on site. The staff keeps family members informed on the activities of the resident, and any concerns they may see.

What we like the most about The Carlisle is that the staff are attentive to issues , work with the insurance, good security, help stimulate [name removed] into the groups. Yes. They are now under new ownership so I don't know if things will change

This is a warm, independent, and welcoming community in an ideal location—just one block from the beach and a short walk to the Intracoastal. The staff is exceptionally friendly and goes out of their way to foster connections, often seating residents with different groups during meals to help everyone get to know one another. They also offer guest rooms for visiting family, which is a wonderful touch. My father-in-law stayed here for a month and genuinely seemed to enjoy his time—both the setting and the sense of community.

We have been looking for a place for dad. We knew it had to be very special for him to make the transition. We took him to Wellington Bay. The staff is wonderful, there is always someone at the front desk to help you check in and answer questions. Everyone has made a point to know my father and make him feel like he is at home. The dinning area is beautiful and my Dad enjoys going down for every meal which includes a grand piano that they have someone come in and play for events. A very elegant atmosphere for dinning!! The rooms are spacious and my Dad was able to take many of his special items from his house. He has always been very proud of his home and can still feel that way having such a spacious home in this community. The outside patio is gorgeous and my Dad is found out there a lot and I feel good knowing he is getting fresh air and some daily vitamin D. There is also a balcony off of each floor looking over water and a fountain. Plenty of activities as well.

It has been almost a year since my husband moved into Wellington bay assisted living. We both have been very pleased, from the beautiful facilities to the wonderful, caring staff. The food is excellent and I eat there frequently with him. I am totally comfortable with my husband’s quality of care. The staff knows us both and is always knowledgeable and helpful. I can highly recommend this facility.

All the staff at Wellington Bay care about their residents!!! [name removed] and [name removed] always greet me by my first name and ask about my dad. [name removed] and [name removed] helped My dad and I navigate a trying time for our family!! The nurses and staff in memory care always go the extra mile to make their residents feel included and loved! This is an outstanding facility from the maintenance staff all the way to executive director help and care about their residents.

Our overall experience was excellent. However, the only comment I would make was the residence was just sold so I am sure there will be some changes. I will speak with friends I made there to get their thoughts as to the new owners before I make a call to book for next year.

If you are looking for an A+ facility look no further than Wellington Bay's Lisbet Health Center. We were fortunate to find WB when it opened in 2022, moving my mother first into their independent living building. We took comfort knowing they had ASL and MC services there as her needs evolved. They made every transition seamless and smooth. The management and staff are caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, treating residents with dignity and TLC. They really go the extra mile for residents and their families. They also have extra levels of accreditation to be able to provide medical services/treatments onsite that other facilities may not. In addition to the wonderful care, they work tirelessly to provide fantastic life enrichment, educational and health and wellness programming for residents. And I didn't mention their food - delicious ! I couldn't recommend them more highly for a family member or loved one.

My husband and I live in New Jersey and mom lives in Florida. Moving her into assisted living at Lisbet is the smartest thing we have done, since her memory loss has progressed. My mom is happy! She is so well cared for by every person on the staff. They really go the extra mile. She's encouraged to socialize with the other residents and she is! It has made her feel like she belongs and whenever I call and she's not home I'm so pleased. I know she is having a good time and is well cared for and attended to. My relationship with the staff, particularly the front desk and the medical staff is so accessible. That is incredibly important when you're not close by. I can rest easy being far away for the first time. Thank you to [name removed] and everyone at Lisbet. My mom has told me several times, how happy she is. I can't recommend Lisbet enough for your loved ones.

Kempton is such a wonderful community! It is so welcoming and loving to the residents. You feel like family from the time you walk in the door. I love seeing the residents sitting on the enormous front porch in all those rocking chairs catching up on the day!

I was afraid of this new adventure as I lived With my young son and daughter-in-law. After their two daughters left on their own. That is why I was afraid. Living here has been the most satisfying of adventures. I have met wonderful people, joined a great arts and craft class, and an exercise class. There is, also computers foot access, shuffle board, tv's, sitting areas for quiet time, and a pool, (saltwater), that just opened up maintenance is just a phone call away.

This may seem strange for me to give the community in which I work a review, but when I saw that APFM has given us a score of 7, I was confused, as I saw that most of our reviews read 4-5 stars. I found that because there are not many RECENT reviews, our score goes down.(We have not been w/APFM) SO, I wanted to be sure that you as a consumer, understand that. I have been blessed to work in our residents' home for almost 12 years. The comments we receive from our residents & family members are that this community feels like home & everyone seems so happy & acts like family here. It is true. I feel that we owe our success to the amazing passion our team has to truly care for our residents' well-being. We have extremely good tenure w/ our core group averaging about 15 years! They do a great job! I was just in our Resident Council meeting & the residents were complimenting them on their hard work, the good food, the choices, activities, outings, care, etc. I am ready to move in, myself!

My friend lived at this community for several years. He has a rare form of ALS, and is in need of physical assistance, meal preparation, socialization, transportation, etc. They did a great job with all of this and more. He and his friends love this place and the great staff there. They truly care the residents and the friends and family of the residents there. I found that they listen to the residents and families and communicate well. It seems that they are interested not only is your physical needs but also your spiritual and mental needs as well. They have many staff members who have worked there for more than 10 - 15 years and have a passion for what they do. The food and activities are great! The chef even helped him make some of his own Italian sauce and pasta for everyone one day. He loved that and so did everyone else. This is a great community. I would choose to go here my self. Everyone seems happy.

Great Staff and the faculty has all needed amenities plus more. Great location near shopping Mall, Restaurants, Movie Theatre, and easy access to major highways/interstate. I would definitely recommend Inspire Sandhills to anyone.

They exceed my expectations in every way. Everyone here are very professional and helpful in everyway.

A lot of events and amenities all included under the rental of the apartment, truly few extra fees added to final rental bill each month. Grounds are kept in tip top shape.

I moved from another state to come to NC...I was nervous I Love INSPIRE ROYAL PARK so clean friendly ...something to do everyday...[name removed] the director is awesome. Crafts to do,cards to play...so much fun to have The residents are just like you, find things in common

My mom was there for an 8 day stay while I went on vacation. I toured the Kemptons and interacted with the staff for 2 weeks before mom began her stay. I couldn't ask for more better care from the staff. They were very professional and I did not worry about her care while I was away. I would recommend this facility if you are looking for long term care or temporary care that I needed for my mom.
