Very friendly staff
Villas of Holly Brook Chatham community, was a very good experience for my sister and I couldn't be happier with the facility. A little pricey but worth the peace of mind. Based on the experience we were able to have with this community, we would recommend them to other families.

Very friendly staff

Our family's experience
What we really like about Villas of Holly Brook Chatham is that the staff seem to be responsive to our loved ones every day needs and concerns. He feels safe and recognizes that he is being take care of. That is the best that we were hoping for in his current state. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend Villas of Holly Brook to other families.

We've been very pleased with Mom's care. The staff has gone beyond good. The facility is very inviting. Of all the places we visited, Mom chose this one. She said it just felt good.

I did not have a good impression of Villas of Holly Brook Chatham. The facility was not very clean. And it almost seemed like they weren't interested or didn't have enough time for us when we did the tour.

Perfect Place for Now
My loved one seems to be in a good place. I like that it is assisted living. The staff is excellent, and they are always able to keep me updated on my loved one. I like the fact that the community is able to do blood draws when needed, this is a huge relief for me.

My mother has been at Hollybrook for 2 years and we are very happy with the place.
Even with the Covid-19 problems they are often coming up with novel entertainment ideas that are thoughtful. I am impressed with their safety measures as well.
Before Hollybrook we were at a facility in Springfield that cost much more and the staff was quite bad, regardless of the shift. We also tried another that had very good staff and also cost much more but my mother didn't like the multiple levels or the formal, stilted atmosphere. This place doesn't have those problems at all.
As others have said, the Hollybrook price is quite competitive, the single level is great for exercise and figuring out how to get around and the homey atmosphere of the place is not intimidating.

Friendly and great value.
My mom has been at Hollybrook for a year now. We took her out of a much more expensive facility to be closer to home. Before that she was in a more expensive facility for rehab that packed people in like sardines.
She actually likes Hollybrook better because it is more like family and there is lots to do. She likes going to the movies, most every afternoon. An added bonus is that it's cheaper than Springfield facilities. The staff has been great, too.
The best way to put it is that it's very nice but it's friendly, not fancy and lonely.

We Had a Good Visit
On the tour we saw it was an assisted living place. We really liked it but we thought my mom would not have qualified to live here. She needed more assistance for her dementia. We felt it was not going to work out and it didn't seem like a fit.

Can't say enough good things!!!
My mother is doing great and has settled in very well into this community. They have many activities and they do a very good job of encouraging her to go. I like that the place is all one level, and there are no stairs or elevators. The staff is all very attentive and the food served it is great. The place is $2000 less a month than other places we were looking at, I am very happy with our decision to chose this one.

Not good for those who need a lot of assistance
We had high hopes when we moved into this facility. The director was very, very nice! Things have not gone well from the beginning, but that seems to have more to do with ownership than management. When the director left, things changed for the worse. My loved one is not getting the proper care they need. We have visited the hospital various times. An employee lied about my loved one. Laundry isn't being returned and garbage is not being taken out. The physical building is very nice. There are several people there that are nice but, overall it has been a bad experience. This would be a good facility for a person who is mostly independent, but a person who needs much assistance is not going to get it.

The whole staff was very welcoming
The whole staff was very welcoming at The Villas of Holly Brook. They make a point to check on the residents at least four times a day. The food is really good there too. It has been an all around good experience at this facility.
