We Love Helping Families Find the Right Senior Care

"I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help. When this crisis first occurred I had no idea who to contact and for that matter I had no idea where to even start. Once I contacted you it was so easy. You are truly a one stop shop when it comes to care giving. I have told not only my aunt about you I have told everyone I know that when the time comes to care for parents and relatives the only call they need to make is to A Place for Mom."

Steve A., Found Home Care in Anderson, OH

"I was completely unprepared and you gave me some direction. I appreciate that after giving me advice, you gave me some space to make a decision. This was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but I felt that I had someone that was objective that I could consult with. I also checked out some facilities that were recommended by acquaintances and the best of theirs was worse than any of the ones that you recommended."

Randall B., Found Assisted Living in Willoughby, OH

I can't thank you enough for all your help during this process. You were the first call I made, and the last one I needed to make."
- Ilana S.
"I was at the end of my rope the day I heard from you and you helped me more in that one phone call than I was able to find alone for 6 months. You gave me hope..."

Let's Talk About Advance Directives

When: 10/20/2016 at 11:30 am until 1 pm

Where: Stow-Glen Retirement Village

What is "Power of Attorney" and how does it work? A power of attorney (POA) is a document that allows you to appoint a person or organization to manage your affairs if you become unable to do so. • Financial POA: allows your agent to make financial and property transactions, and handle taxes, stocks, safe deposit boxes, etc. • Healthcare POA: allows your agent to make health care decisions on your behalf. Advance directives can be difficult to talk about but they can come into play anytime healthcare decisions need to be made. Discussing wishes with family members and filling out advance directives relieves families from guess work and potential family disagreement later. The FREE October 20th Lunch & Learn at Stow Glen will address this question and questions about Living Wills. The luncheon is in Cedar Hall, doors open at 11:30, speaker and lunch at 12.
