Comfortable Place for My Loved One
They were so very helpful with moving my loved one there. They have always been available to answer my questions, and help me in any way they can. They had a change of staff that was a little hiccup in her care, but after the new staff settled in, everything went back to being great. The facility is beautiful.

We toured Pennington Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care when searching for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. The cleanliness of this facility was poor. Also, the person that I had the tour appointment with was unprepared.

Our Family's Experience
Our loved one is happy there which her happiness is the most important thing for us. She has made friends and enjoys the activities they have going on - although we do wish they had a little bit more physical activities. Now there are some areas of improvement - they are experiencing pretty high turnover's within their staff team which trickles down to the overall quality of care - especially the consistency regarding hygiene maintenance. However the staff they do have working there are very good and we know almost everyone on the staff team. They are very friendly and they do care. Anytime we have a concern and we bring it to their attention they get right on it. We do wish there was some clarity regarding who is in charge, that would be very beneficial for families and their loved ones.

Tour of Pennington Gardens
Pennington Gardens was a well kept facility that looked to be nice. It was just seemed like nothing was different than where we were at before and we wanted something that stuck out. It was also more expensive than we wanted.

Tour of Pennington Gardens
I was immediately turned off during our tour with Pennington Gardens. I felt like they were not listening to me, they immediately wanted to put my mom in the area where residents needed the most type of care and it was very institutional and that it not what my mom needed, she is still very independent.

Brother & I both like the facility. We thought the rooms were nice and the facility was well maintained. The location was good and close to both of our homes. Facility was clean. This remains a consideration for my mother to come and visit to seek her thoughts.

Very Helpful and Caring Staff
The staff are all friendly and caring. The price is comparable to any other community in the area. My parents enjoy the staff, dining, and some of the activities available during the pandemic.

A great fit for our family
We chose this facility because of the overall look of the facility and the fact that most of their staff members had been here for a very long time. The administrator had been here for over 20 years and that really stuck out to us. The room sizes here are very nice, my mom has been in 2 different sizes and both were great for her needs. The dining room here is beautiful and the food is decent as well. Overall, it is a tough time for care facilities and we appreciate Pennington Gardens and they have done a great job.

They gave my mom wonderful care.
They have assisted living and memory care. They gave my mom wonderful care. They were wonderful for her needs at the time. Eventually it became difficult for her to engage in activities because of her health. It was clean and they were friendly.
