Highly Recommended
The staff really care and are great about checking in with families on different things. They have been very inclusive with my mother and the activities. If I have any questions or concerns they are quick to respond.
I would definitely recommend Lowrie Place to others.

We are really, really happy with everything!
Everything is awesome! Every single staff member is fantastic, from the nurses to the director to the activities coordinator to the cooks to the maintenance and grounds people to all of the staff who walk around and help with a dozen things every day. Other than the fact that it is one of the more expensive facilities, everything is fantastic.

Positive experience
We definitely would consider Lowrie Place if we wanted to move my dad somewhere full time to live. The only thing that they do not offer here is memory care which is something we may need in the future. My loved one did a 2 weeks respite stay and talked about it a few days after he got home. He said he was very comfortable and that the rooms were perfect size for what he needed. The staff were all very friendly, my sister and I came to visit him a few times while he was here.

My Tour Experience
I would not recommend Lowrie Place to anybody. I walked in, and it had bad vibes from the start. It just seemed lifeless in there. Even though it was assisted living, it seemed more like a nursing home, and it smelled. It was just a sad experience because the residents all looked so sad. It was a smaller facility, but they did not have 24/7 nursing care, just a nurse on call. Yet the residents looked like they needed a lot more nursing care. It was a total turn-off. I would have had a problem putting anybody here.

Since June
We had our mom there since end of June. They pushed us to get her in at the low rate, just to find out they raised the rate 2 months later. UGH! Still waiting to hear what they are going to do about that.
At least, twice so far she's gone with out her laundry being cleaned for at least 11 days. Finally called corporate about it, cause it seems to be get better, and then they fall back to their old ways. We're hoping that it works out.
Staff is nice.

I toured this community
I went on a tour at this community and the staff was nice and helpful. He answered all of my questions. It was nice and clean. It had spacious rooms with a bathroom and a kitchenette. And it was a newer building so it was out of our budget. It just wasn't a good fit for my brother. I would recommend families tour before selecting a place.

Mom Likes It In This Community
My mother is enjoying her time here in this community. I do feel she is safe, and in good hands. The staff is good for the most part, and they are taking care of her, and her needs. She is pleased with the meals, and is getting involved with the activities they offer. She is likes it here in this facility, and I would recommend it.

Really nice but too expensive
We toured this community when looking for my parents. It was very nice and the staff was friendly and able to answer any questions we had. My parents decided not to move here because it was a little too high fort heir price range and they didn't like the lay out of the rooms. One thing that was aggravating was the community kept calling us after we toured.

Very nice place!
Our experience with Lowrie Place has been a very positive one overall, I'd give them high marks across the board! It's a nice looking, clean place, and everyone has been very friendly. One small complaint is that we had a few minor maintenance issues that they responded to slower than I'd like, but other than that we're entirely satisfied!

Nice place, overall
Overall our experience with Lowrie Place was a good one. It's a clean, nice looking facility, and the staff is friendly and professional. It took a bit of effort to get our loved one settled at the right level of care, but they took good care of her overall. I do think they could use a few more aides on staff, however.
