GOD SENT!!!!
THE PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. THE ADMINISTRATOR & STAFF IS SO CARING.THE STAFF MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME EVERYTIME YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOOR. THIS FACILITY IS THE FIRST MEMORY CARE I'VE BEEN TO THATS SMELLS REALLY CLEAN.THE CLEANLINESS IS OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! I WATCH THE STAFF TAKE THEIR TIME WITH EACH RESIDENT AND GIVE THEM THAT ONE ON ONE CARE THAT THEY'VE LACKED AT THE BIGGER AND FANCIER ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY AROUND HERE! THEY TRY TO ACCOMMODATE EVERYONE NEEDS.THIS PLACE IS A GOD SENT!!!! I WOULD RECOMMEND CAIRN PARK FACILITIES IN A HEARTBEAT!

This is a review of the Cairn park on Academy Blvd. in Cape Coral. Our Mother was one of the residents of that facility. The owners were more concerned with the staff cleaning the floors etc. then they were of the care of the residents. The best care giver left due to the way she was treated. There were no activities, mostly they were just put to bed because they didn't want to deal with them. All of their clothes were washed and given to other residents or some how disappeared. They said there were no scabies there but when we went to visit our mother when she was in the hospital and in hospice all 3 of us went home with scabies. They kept changing nurses and care managers. Personally I don't think these people should be allowed in the business of care giving!

More attention to how the house looks, then actual care of the residents
The Cairn Park house on Academy Blvd looks very nice and they talk a good game. They are more concerned about "looking good" they quality care of the residents.
3 residents have passed away in 3 months.
I believe it is due to residents not being stimulated and lack of proper care of the residents. There is also a rash which some say is scabies, which Cairn Park denies. However, it looks like scabies and the residents were treated for scabies. Two of the three people (out of 5) who contracted the rash have died within 2 months of each other. The third person who passed away did not contract the rash because her daughter washed her cloths and got her her own personal chair, so the resident was not exposed to the others, who did have the rash
There are no activities and the residents mostly sit around. If they do get up, they are told to "sit down". They have had - 3 managers in less than a year.
The house on 30th Terr has been empty for a long time.

Cairn Park is a company built on quality care, compassion, dignity, and over 25 years experience in memory care. Our small homes offer individualized care for each of our neighbors with dementia. We offer a nurse practitioner daily and employ RN's, LPN's and caregivers to ensure a continuum of care. Cairn Park provides the proper amount of stimulation through our activities program. We have a registered dietitian who creates balanced diets while allowing individual food preferences.
Cairn Park believes in aging in place (this is their home) therefore we do have people remain with us through end of life care.
We do have an empty house as we were forced to evacuate during the hurricane like many others. This house has been renovated and is now taking reservations.
Please know we take our business very serious. The neighbors with dementia, their families, and our staff our part of our family.

This is a custom facility that uses single family homes with no more than 6 residents. Seems like the right place for folks that don't want to interact with others. Not right for my folks.
