She has participated in lots of the activities (loves the happy hours) and now has \"friends\" she looks forward to seeing each day; the residents were very welcoming and friendly from the beginning. My only complaint would be that no one gave her an orientation upon move-in. I had to ask the director for information I think should have been offered immediately...when her dinner time was, where she should sit, etc. She went to get something from her car one night shortly after moving in and discovered the doors were all locked; luckily, another resident was going in and gave her the keypad number to open the door.
