Alzheimer’s Memory Care
The Alois Alzheimer Center was established in 1987 as the first care center in the nation to specialize in working with those with Alzheimer's disease and/or related dementia. We offer a full continuum of care, from Assisted Living to Nursing Care to End of Life care. Our four distinct living environments and holistic approach to care allow us to maximize our resident's functional abilities while promoting accomplishment, control and a sense of belonging. The Alois Alzheimer Center is nestled on a beautiful seven acre wooded setting, that, when coupled with the therapeutic outdoor gardens, allow the residents of the Alois Center freedom to be outside and experience all the comforts of nature while remaining within the secured grounds. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of life and quality of care to your loved one.

"When I finally decided the time had come to make the move A
Place for Mom was absolutely there for me. My adviser spent a lot
of time talking to me so that he understood my husband's needs as
well as mine. He followed up with me after facility visits and took
a genuine interest in helping us. I am so relieved to have
found a place that I think will meet my husband's needs and give
him a happy place to live. There are not enough words to express to
you how grateful I am for finding A Place for

"My mom settled in beautifully. I hesitated moving her for over
a year because of all the warnings of 'transfer trauma' I had
heard. She didn't miss a beat. Once there she became
clearer and calmer, she did so much better!"

On this website, we use the term "assisted living" as a general business description for communities that provide some level of assistance with daily living activities. This generic term is not intended to indicate whether any particular facility meets applicable State requirements with respect to providing a particular level of care. We strongly recommend that, when considering any community, you request to see their state license and/or contact your state's licensing authority for clarification on license type and the services they are able to provide.
