Alzheimer’s Memory Care
The Alois Alzheimer Center was established in 1987 as the first care center in the nation to specialize in working with those with Alzheimer's disease and/or related dementia. We offer a full continuum of care, from Assisted Living to Nursing Care to End of Life care. Our four distinct living environments and holistic approach to care allow us to maximize our resident's functional abilities while promoting accomplishment, control and a sense of belonging. The Alois Alzheimer Center is nestled on a beautiful seven acre wooded setting, that, when coupled with the therapeutic outdoor gardens, allow the residents of the Alois Center freedom to be outside and experience all the comforts of nature while remaining within the secured grounds. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of life and quality of care to your loved one.

"I was completely unprepared and you gave me some direction. I
appreciate that after giving me advice, you gave me some space to
make a decision. This was one of the hardest decisions I
have ever had to make, but I felt that I had someone that was
objective that I could consult with. I also checked out
some facilities that were recommended by acquaintances and the best
of theirs was worse than any of the ones that you recommended."
Randall B., Found Assisted Living in Willoughby, OH
Your assistance was invaluable and you do your job very well.
You should know how appreciated your services are when one
is faced with such aging parent issues. We had no idea what was
what and you clarified everything in just a few emails.
The articles were especially helpful!"

On this website, we use the term "assisted living" as a general business description for communities that provide some level of assistance with daily living activities. This generic term is not intended to indicate whether any particular facility meets applicable State requirements with respect to providing a particular level of care. We strongly recommend that, when considering any community, you request to see their state license and/or contact your state's licensing authority for clarification on license type and the services they are able to provide.
