Situated in the large city of Columbus, Ohio, A Blessed Business of Family Homes provides assisted living facilities to seniors. Some residents may have an active lifestyle but might require help with daily needs so we offer a good balance of care to ensure that they keep their independence and that look forward to each new day. We provide our residents the basic assistance they may need such as help with daily hygiene, dressing and meal preparation, offsite devotional services, and complementary transportation to appointments or outings, yet we ensure that they remain healthy while still in control of their own lives. We encourage a supportive environment, and are there for them to ensure that they take any required medication, assist with mobility challenges, and provide such necessary tasks such as laundry and housekeeping services. While residents are free to enjoy spending time with their friends, they also have their individual living quarters. Human contact is essential to our human needs, but sometimes we all need a little ômeö time, even if it just some time to think by ourselves and we totally understand that. Even though they still live independently to some degree, we always make it a practice to ôdrop inö and be sure they are okay. If the decision arrives in which you must leave the home you have come to love and look for a senior care facility in which live, it can be a challenging time. You can experience many challenging thoughts and have some fear about this change. Coping can be achieved by allowing yourself enough time to accept this change and know that it is okay to feel some anxiety and hesitance. We are always there for you do discuss your thoughts and feelings if you ever need just to talk to someone.

"My mom settled in beautifully. I hesitated moving her for over
a year because of all the warnings of 'transfer trauma' I had
heard. She didn't miss a beat. Once there she became
clearer and calmer, she did so much better!"
Michelle W., Found Assisted Living in Fairfield, OH
"This has been such a hard decision for me. I never thought I
would be putting my mom in a "home", I thought I would be able to
care for her myself. But I realize that there is no way I
could do this on my own. I truly appreciate the help in this
difficult time. It was wonderful to have been given guidance in
choosing a facility that will be able to work with their changing
mental status. Again, thank you for your help and support.
Knowing someone was there made a huge difference."
Linda B., Found Alzheimer’s Memory Care in Dublin, OH
