Affordable, friendly staff. Some shortages of staff/concern for residents on the weekends, but that's likely in most places. Pretty good commication about residents health or health emergency. Pretty good selection of activities for residents. It's as good or better than another place we've used.

We've had a few struggles with care in the beginning and still with paperwork being submitted in a timely manner for insurance purposes. The exterior of the facility is well past due for maintenance, repairs, exterior cleaning, gutter clean out (there's a small 3ft tree growing from one gutter) and a roof cleaning. Lots of mold and mildew growing that is unhealthy for the residents and staff. The ponds could use a good sprucing up as well to remove all the pond scum and repair the fountains (you'd think as part of the facility name, that'd be on a priory list somewhere). It'd be lovely if they could focus on those things. Not only from a health standpoint but I'm sure the residents would appreciate having nice and clean exterior grounds and increase their mental and spiritual wellbeing. The inside is also dated and could use new hard surface flooring through and eliminate any carpet that can hold onto to germs and odors. Overall, my aunt is content there and seems to be doing well.

We are very pleased with Fountains at Mill Cove. The facility is very home like and the staff is excellent in providing care to my Mom. The room is just the right size for my mom. The amenities offered are excellent. My mom is able to get her hair done every week and she is happy about that. She has met several new friends and has settled in quite nicely there.

My loved one is currently a resident at Fountains Residence at Mill Cove and the experience has been great so far. The staff is excellent and they are easily available. After having my loved one in two other Assisted Living/Memory Care facilities, the most important thing to us is the staff. The Fountains Residence at Mill Cove has caring, hard working, and thoughtful employees. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My family and loved one have had a great experience with the community. The staff are very kind, caring, nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. Everyone is friendly. There are meals and activities provided for the residents, and this assists with the socialization of the residents. Overall this is a community we would recommend to others. The fee is all inclusive including level of care, which is nice. It took a little time to get into a routine and for my husband to get to know the staff but that is expected anywhere. The rooms are spacious but if you are at the end of a hall it can be quite a way to get to the dining area unless you have a motorized scooter or wheel chair.

My mother is currently living at Fountains Residence at Mill Cove. The facility is clean, but needs some updating. The staff are nice. The communication with the family could be better. My recommendation would be to try and reach out to the family once a month to see if they have questions about how their love one is doing or any suggestions on what they can do better. My mother seems to like the food. Overall, for the price, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My loved one is a resident at Fountains Residence at Mill Cove. Everything has been very good at this facility, including the friendliness, cleanliness, and the staff. I have no experience with the Meals and Dining or the Activities to be able to rate them. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

They gave the wrong dosage of medication and at the wrong time. When I asked about it, they said they only had one nurse for 40 people. That they were busy with other patients. When my loved onehad a violent episode because of it, they kicked him out of the facility that day but charged us for the month. He had been there for one week. I would not recommend Fountains Residence at Mill Cove to others.

It is under staffed in the Memory Care area, so residents there don't look well cared or well groomed. The floor there is always sticky and the residents' rooms are not cleaned frequently.

He enjoys the Sunday city tour outing, the food options, the assistance with changing, bathing, and immediate emergency attention (feeling sick, falls, etc). Sometimes there is a bit of miscommunication / difficulty relaying messages with nurses and med techs, but overall they are a great help. Appreciate all the hard work put in to make this community one of the best.

I do really like the upfront pricing here. I did find them to be misleading about being able to see your own primary care physicians. They have transportation to appointments but we later found out if is only within 15 miles, so my dad has not been able to see his own doctor. I do like that this facility provided more independence than some of the others that we looked at. This is definitely a place that I would recommend to others.
What we really like about the Fountains Residence at Mill Cove is the staff team - every time we come to visit they always have a smile on their face and they really make an effort to make you feel comfortable and get to know you on a first name basis. The staff members are not only very receptive to our families needs but also the needs of our loved ones. They are very good about keeping up communication and are pretty much available all of the time. Our loved one is really enjoying the meals and dining service - there are some nice variety and we just like that they are eating much more balanced meals.

What really stood out to us in the beginning was their leadership team during the intake process, they really went above and beyond to accommodate us which felt very nice. According to our loved one the meals and dining service is excellent. Based on our experience so far with the Fountains Residence we would recommend this community to other families.

I would recommend them. They are very clean and my mom loves it here with all of the activities.
Our family had an in person tour and all the staff were incredibly nice and overall it was a great tour experience
Our family had an in person tour and we really liked the people there it was a lovely tour experience, but they wanted our loved one to go through a rehab program which she had already been through and we did not want to do it, but other than that it was a great tour.
This unassisted living is beyond repair. The staff is untrained, facility is old and there isn't a modern computer in sight. Food is hideous and the resident nursing is a joke. The staff cares more about CYA than actually caring for the elderly and the facility is severely understaffed. The phone system is antiquated and the place is teeming with bugs. The medication adminstration was so terrible that my loved one was waiting up til 11pm at night to get meds and half the time no one answered any help calls. Administration is terrible and the staff is highly underpaid and it shows. Rather than pay a living wage to the staff, the administration pushes a "holiday gift" that residents are strongly encouraged to donate to, and the funds are supposedly doled out to the staff. Staff members regularly ask for tips and they are so underpaid and understaffed, they are forced to come to work to keep their jobs even when sick. Run fast and far from this place. it's a disgrace.
