Value for cost
It seemed like the memory care unit was an afterthought. I have had friends who moved into independent living section and loved it, the outside space for those residents is great. The outside space for memory care residents on the other hand is all concrete and next to a busy, 4 lane road which is why we decided against this facility.
They need more places for residents to be able to enjoy the outside. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience. The food is good and they do have lots of activities available.
The food is not like what we cooked at home it just does not have enough seasoning on it. When we were in lock down they still tried to provide some kind of activities, they would leave treats on our doors to lift up our spirits. For us the value for cost is very reasonable.
Had a lovely conversation with [name removed] who gave me some tips and ideas. Unfortunately this place to appears to be our of our budget.
I would rate the staff the highest above anything, they just go above and beyond. The reason i choose this place originally was because they allow animals, and i was able to bring my dog. I just accepted the new activities chairmen position and we are currently looking to increase the activities. Right now we have arts and crafts classes, reading classes, church services, exercise classes and board games.
Don't go to this facility, I had an issue trying to get in the facility, they never seemed to be available to let us. The communication was not good, we couldn't get calls returned to us and it was very frustrating. The food was horrible and there was not a variety. I would not recommend this facility
The price of this community is reasonable and it is in a good location. They had a lot of things available like activities and space, there are on a lot of acreage. The rooms are pretty good, and in decent shape. We would recommend this community to others.
So far we are having a good experience here at Richmond Place. The quarantine impacted a lot though. We originally chose this facility because of the affordability as well as the apartment size. I would want others to know when looking into the facility tat the staff members here have all been very friendly. I would recommend to others.
We chose Richmond Place because it allowed my mom to have a lot more flexibility. She needed some place where she could get immediate care but she is still able to be independent. Her apartment seems to be good sized, she is in a 2 bedroom. The best part about this community so far is that she is in town and close to her doctors and the hospital. The things that she would need for an emergency are all close by. I would definitely recommended.
My husband and I have lived here for 18 months. The grounds are beautiful, the activities are many and broad in context. The staff is very helpful and pleasant.
Richmond Place is a nice place to reside. The community is beautiful, and they have a lot of activities for the residents. The room was great for our loved one. The food was enjoyed by my loved one, while she was there.
My wife and I lived here for about 14 months and we have seen a lot of positive changes. The facility is excellent for us old folks with lots do and excellent staff of caring folks to make everyday exciting . The 6 acres, heavily wooded courtyard is the center of the building is what made us choose Richmond Pace over the others. And of course, Lexington is a wonderful place to be with lots of great communities.
Extremely helpful staff who are friendly and interested in our well being. Food is good and plenty of selection for meals. Staff asks for comments regarding our wishes. There are a variety of activities beig conducted with precautions of Covid-19. My daughter and I are very content and happy.
My loved one has settled into this community very nicely as much as we can expect from him. I think it is a nice community for your loved one to be. I think they have been very nice, and I would recommend this community.
My mother has lived at Richmond Place for eight years and has lived in all three main buildings. She has been very happy at this facility and our family can relax knowing she is in good hands. She is now in the dementia building, which is very warm and home-like (no hospital atmosphere here). The care associates are very kind and attentive and the activities people are fantastic. I was very concerned about how my mother would react to the COVID shutdown because I visited her nearly every day. The activities people have kept them busy and having fun and the care associates have been very instrumental in reassuring them and keeping them comfortable. The DON and nurses are very competent and available and kind as well. I highly recommend Richmond Place if you or a family member are looking for a community that can meet the needs of the active and independent as well as those requiring more care.
We chose Richmond Place because there is a park area on the property and we liked to go outside and walk, it is very nice. The apartment sizes are excellent, we have a balcony as well. The food here is very good, it is served restaurant style and we have a variety of choices off of a menu. My favorite part about the community has been getting to know the other residents. Overall, I would recommend.
Couldn't have been more impressed. Facility was clean, uncluttered, safe and friendly. [name removed], sales rep was extremely empathic, kind, professional and helpful. Only wish our finances were in a place we could afford. Also, [name removed] and Richmond team did everything they could to help us to meet the goal.
I think they are very personable. I feel Richmond Place does a good job getting to know the residents on a one on one basis and cares for them on that basis. My mom likes the food. The room sizes and layout of the community are very nice. They have outdoor space too.
Richmond Place is a home-like environment. Employees always greet you with a smile. If I had a parent that needed independent living this would be my 1st choice.
Richmond Place is a beautiful community located in a great part of Lexington. They have the largest apartments I've seen and an amazing 6-acre park. You can tell the employees really care about the residents and do everything they can to make their lives better!
