Oakleaf Village Review
The staff were responsive to our needs, especially one of the nurses. Had plenty of activities for whomever wished to participate. And fellow residents were friendly. My loved one was not thrilled with the food, but I do not know of any specific improvements that could have been made. I would recommend Oakleaf Village of Columbus to others looking.

I picked it because of price. My brother had very limited funds. Others were nicer with more amenities, but the costs were prohibitive. Overall the care was just OK. Towards the end of myloved ones life we moved and the care was better.

Satisfied, welcoming experience
We chose Oakleaf Village because of the location and the familiarity of the area and also mom knew people from her condo complex who were here and had a good experience. The apartment sizes are appropriate for one individual, not too large and not too small. We are really happy with the nursing staff that is here, especially [name removed]. The residents all seem to be very welcoming and staff have been friendly and helpful. Overall we are satisfied and would recommend them.

We have had an average experience with Oakleaf Village. I thought that they were extremely helpful during the move in process and getting him in. They have a positive covid case so he is not enjoying the lock-downs. He does not care much for the food that they serve either. Other than that, he has been doing fine.

We chose Oakleaf Village because when I called, the director was caring, kind, and honest. She was also upset with the way my mother was being treated at her previous facility that we transferred from. My mother did have a private room. The staff were really on top of everything and very attentive to my mother and our families needs, they really listened to us. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

They were very nice. They took good care of my dad. The food was very good. The layout of the community and room sizes are good. They have outdoor patio for residents to use. The staff was wonderful. They kept me updated on my dad's activities.

I helped a friend find a new home for her mom recently. I contacted A Place for Mom. They were so absolutely friendly, patient, and helpful!!! They saved me so much time and stress by doing all the leg work for me! They asked me everything needed to help find the right fit for the mom and recommended oakleaf almost immediately! My friends mom has been living there now for a couple months and loves it! She’s making friends, participating in all kinds of fun activities, and is quite happy and has peace of mind. I ultimately thank God for connecting me to place for mom, and secondly , I thank this wonderful help! I highly recommend it to any and everyone looking for a home for their loved one. I wish I had known about them a long time ago! You can be sure I pass their name on to anyone I talk to looking for a home for their loved one. Thanks again!!

My husband lived there for 5 years and was treated kindly. The meals were very tasty. Lots of activities going on to interest folks. I would live there if I had to. I've been volunteering there going on 4 years now. I look forward to going in every time. Staff is "special".

Oak Leaf is wonderfully settled midst trees and flowers. They have a "back yard" which is extraordinary. The staff was friendly and seemed more than willing to work with me to have the living quarters to be just what I needed and were amenable to making change to meet my desires. The Staff Are Wonderful
My mom is doing pretty well here and she is still getting settled in. The staff are really nice and great. They are motivating my mom to become more active. I like they are supportive of her during this time. The residents seem really happy and I have seen them gathered together talking to each other. They have activities and they invite my mom every other day. I would recommend this community and they accept Medicaid.

Getting to know the community!
The food here tends to be good. The staff is great, but at times you get a aide that has an attitude. They also offer transportation to the store if you need to go. I like that they have scenic tours to go out on.
