Canterfield of Kennesaw is proud to be the first and only senior living community in Kennesaw Georgia, with an established, supportive community for residents that require independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. We believe in cultivating a truly exceptional way of life that allows residents the dignity to design each day to their greatest desire. Our natural landscape is emboldened by rich, green landscaping, and a peaceful courtyard that provides residents and guests the opportunity to embrace the outdoors. Our concept for senior living was developed in the 1980’s by Winston Porter, whose social model of senior living was “to be cared for in a carefree environment.” Our community is designed in a hotel-like fashion that always feels like home and complements the dignity, safety, and quality of life to all residents. Contact an advisor at A Place for Mom, and let us know how we can care for you!
Our community is nurtured by our deep consideration to treat residents like family. A concierge is available for any questions or needs, like help with transportation services, and our caregiving staff is available around all hours for your personal and medical services needs like medication management and...

They are understaffed, you pay to much for nothing they say they have. They don’t monitor their residents, they don’t clean and when you complain, they get your bedding stuff and never return with clean ones, then they make excuses that their understaffed. The nurse told us that our aunt was in bed all day and she has been keeping an eye out, but the desk clerk and othe employees said she has been up and dressed all day and has had two meals that day. She came down and was fully dressed and ready. The staff talks amongst theirselves and ignored a man falling out of his wheelchair chair. This place is a joke and needs to be reported. My Aunt has been removed and in a more managed place.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
Canterfield of Kennesaw is not only a beautiful, welcoming facility but I have NEVER seen any care takers and employees with a more positive attitude. I've been to many nursing homes, senior living and assisted living places but everyone there seems genuinely happy to be there which makes a HUGE different to those living there and their families. Our family is so thrilled we found this place for my father. We had family at other places near Marietta/East Cobb and this is by far the best environment in terms of the people/care.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
