When our mother became very ill, we all agreed she needed nursing care and we didn’t have time to look at options. Mom has always been very social with energy to spare. 3 years later, Mom was still in nursing care but had made a recovery that told us she needed to have her life back. We found Asbury court and, though it’s only been a short time, she is her old self. At 94 she is newly alive! our salesman, our 1st contact answered all our questions and allayed our fear that independence for Mom might only be a wish. Everyone we have come in contact with has been so kind and compassionate. Each new experience for Mom has come with encouragement and understanding from whatever staff member has been involved. She looks forward to all the activities that are offered and the independence she loves so well, knowing that if she needs help with anything it’s there. We are all breathing a big sigh of relief and so happy to see Mom smiling again.... Read more

It was the very first day. We do not have enough experience to adequately determine the long term performance of the facility or the employees. Nevertheless, we certainly were quite impressed with the doctor and the head nurse as well as the supportive staff members on this the first day of meeting. Indeed, it turned out to be an easy transition for the elderly new resident.
My mom had her Pandora bracelet stolen while living there., she was hit by another resident and the place have bed bugs.
We really like how the staff is very supportive to the residents and their families and that they are all very knowledgeable.
My mom was in need of a memory care facility and I was put in touch with Asbury Court. From my first contact with the Campus Sales, Admissions, Business Development Director through the entire process of moving my mom in, our experience was positive at every step. We were given a tour of the entire facility and met many residents who told us they were happy to live there. Twice during our move, Asbury staff members told us that it was their pleasure to do whatever they can to make residents comfortable and happy. The facility is clean, she is in a beautiful room and she enjoys the meals (the food and the company of the residents and staff). From my conversations with the staff, I am confident they make a sincere effort to know their residents. My mom is very happy with her new living arrangement and everyone I have met at Asbury Court is responsible for making her feel that way.
The community does not seem to be organized and communication could be better. It is hard to find out who to ask specific questions to. Communication needs to be better. I would not recommend this community to others right now.
My aunt chose Asbury Court because it was recommended to her by a social worker. The room sizes here are a little on the smaller side. I think the communication from what she tells us is pretty good. I think their rehab did a good job, she was there a couple times and she did very well there. I would recommend to others who are looking.
I have lived here for 14 months. Have had a wonderful time.
