They're very friendly. They've gone out of their way several times in many different ways for my dad, from the person who shows you around and sells it, to the move-in coordinator, to the nursing staff, to the kitchen. My dad has problems communicating, and they come up every day just for him with a menu so he can circle what he wants for the evening. It's super clean. Maintenance is amazing. My dad absolutely loves the food. They have all kinds of activities going on. Everything we've experienced there has been above what we ever expected.

The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The management is always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I've not had any issue that has not been resolved within the same day. And I've had very few issues, just minor things. For instance, my loved one's fridge went out in her room, and they had a new fridge brought in within about 6 hours or so. The food is amazing. They have a chef who 's been with them quite a while, about 12 years, and he puts out some amazing quality meals for the residents.

We had an excellent tour at Brookdale Finneytown. The Director of Sales/Admissions was the biggest selling point. She was amazing. If I could move her to the facility we ended up choosing, I would - she was that good. We started out with an online tour first. The online experience was different than in person, so I was glad we did it again in person. I got a much better feel for the facility in person. I had a good overall impression of the facility, and I liked the level of activities they offered. Location played a big part in our decision. Also, Brookdale Finneytown was kind of hard to navigate. The building was shaped like an X with a big circle in the middle of it. That made for a grand entrance, but I thought it would have been too hard for my loved one to navigate with visual impairments.
