About
Williston- The Kensington
Just off Highways 2 and 85, The Kensington is a conveniently located assisted living community, close to shopping, pharmacies, churches, banks and restaurants.
A large, comfortable living room greets visitors with surroundings that facilitate good conversation. In the nearby snack center, the coffee's always on and the goodies are usually fresh-baked.
The family room is a great place to play cards or watch a movie, plus there are books and games to entertain the kids. Residents stay busy with a wide variety of activities, including chapel services, Wii bowling and fun bus trips. A partnership with the neighborhood school yields wonderful projects. One of the most successful is the large, communal garden they plan, plant and tend every year in the open lot between them. A portion of the harvest is always donated to the area food pantry.
Villa at The Kensington is a beautiful new addition, offering specialized care for those with Alzheimer's and other memory loss conditions in a private, secure, and home-like setting. Accommodating just twelve residents, Villa provides very personalized care with a high staff-to-resident ratio. Services include help with daily activities, health supervision, structured programing and family-style meals. A cozy living room with fireplace and an open kitchen for hands-on activities add to the homey atmosphere.
