Wamus Family Care Home is licensed by State of North Carolina. It is located in a peaceful and safe cul-de-sac in Fox-hall sub-division, Winston-Salem, North Carolina Our home prides itself of being a family home, not a facility, only caters for six residents. Small enough to serve each resident in a manner that makes them feel at home and valued but big enough to develop stimulating and varied relationships.

Our residents retain their independence to make decisions, but caregivers are ready to provide help when needed. They are encouraged to participate in group exercises & recreational activities to remain socially, physically and mentally stimulated. We believe people in all stages of life thrive best in a warm, supportive environment where personal one-on-one trusting relationships are built between care-givers, residents and their families.

Home’s main caregiver is a loving caring Registered Nurse, who is also the home’s administrator. Assistance with activities of daily living is provided in a clean and comfortable environment that is essential in supporting the physical, mental, and social well being of our residents. We strive to conduct all matters with honesty, integrity, and love that every person deserves.
