Once we could visit and residents could interact [name removed] enjoyed every day and participated in almost every activity the Windsor presented. She told us she felt as if she lived at a county club! After two plus years [name removed] began to fail. The staff provided so much tender and loving care to her. One day when she was restless I asked staff to help and witnessed such tender re positioning of [name removed] and true care for her immediate needs. The nurses were always kind and caring and I could tell that every staff member knew each resident on a very personal level. Towards the end Tidewell Hospice overlapped with extra care and empathy toward [name removed] and to us too. The receptionist kindly said it was probably her emergency flashers and it was only the push of a button. Then a maintenance man came by and asked if he could look at her car. He was back within minutes to say all was well, but she was still upset. An aide walked by and offered to take her purchases to her room. Finally, she settled down and relaxed. All three staff exhibited kindness, immediate assistance, and respect for this resident.
