Good-great experience so far
I'm currently a resident at Remington Club. Everything has been good-great for me at this facility. The activities are great. We went on a trip to a Casino earlier this week. We also have exercise classes, live music, and Blackjack tournaments.

We toured the Remington Club during our search for an Assisted Living/Memory Care facility for our loved one. This facility was nice, but they did not have Memory Care. The cleanliness and friendliness seemed good.

Overall a great facility
Our loved ones apartment was not move-in clean at all. Very dirty toilet & shower was full of paint dust & calking remnants. Same in the kitchen. A [fee removed] "move-in" fee should pay for an immaculate apartment! Staff overall are excellent-professional, yet friendly & caring. Very impressed w/several young men that go above & beyond in their concern for my mother & her safety. My mother has her own caregiver but the Remington staff is friendly & has been helpful at times.
Housekeepers are just adequate. Kitchen staff are friendly, courteous & helpful. Some meals are very good. Some are just ok. Tons of great activities, my mother is not taking advantage of them like she should. She does do the chair exercise & yoga once in awhile Once the remodel is complete it will be modernized & a very beautiful building! We love the location! Couldn't be better or more convenient for our family. My mothers apartment has brand new flooring & carpet in the bedroom.
Living room & Bedroom are very nice sized! She's in Remington 2 which has been under major remodel since she moved in. Another great benefit at the Remington is that almost all apartments have their own little patio. My mother has a little dog & she really enjoys that! There has been some considerable inconvenience due to all the construction & demoing floors etc. I think the [fee removed] price is fairly reasonable but is reflective of this. The rent includes [fee removed] in dining which is really great!!

Apartments should be sparkling clean when a resident moves in and we were sorry that wasn't your experience. Definitely not five star living
My mother moved in here a year ago. The décor was a little tired and the food was boring but it had a great vibe and great location. Since then, the management has changed. They are remodeling which I hope will be an improvement but the food is horrendous and very limited right now and there is no break in the fees. There is no microwave in the apartment.
I was also hoping there would be some people to help with heavy lifting etc but they say she would need assisted living, which she does not need.
The worst issue though is that there has been no hot water for 5 days and they still have not fixed it! They also cancelled her housekeeping for the week. Again, with no discount in her rent (4300 for a one bedroom).
I am very disappointed and I don't want to have to move her but I can't worry about her not having hot water and food. This is ridiculous. I have called the management and have not gotten a call back.

Note that while there was a short issue with our hot water system (and its backup) in parts of our community over the weekend, residents were kept updated regularly and provided access to guest apartments in other parts of the community until this was resolved. There are a wide variety of ways to be informed regarding all the happenings at The Remington Club -- including weekly resident meetings and a daily email newsletter. When we speak I can make sure you know more about these and get you plugged in where you'd like. A Pleasing Tour
This community is very nice and beautifully cared for. The staff seem to have everything under control and organized. It also seem to have activities available. My tour guide was very informative and answered any questions I had. I really liked the apartment layout, it was spacious. I would have chosen this community if my mom was more better.

Nice looking place
I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. At the time of my search The Remington Club had a wait list so we ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

I would recommend..
The Remington Club is an extroverted environment for seniors to live independently and have an active life. The food is good there. The communication with the staff has been good. The location and parking has been good as well. I would recommend The Remington Club to anyone. I can't rate the care services because we haven't used it. It is not applicable. My overall rating of this facility is five stars.

So far it's been very good. I don't have any complaints. I can call them, they are very receptive to phone calls. The staff is very receptive. They give you choices at meals so you always have options. Others have even told me that we found a good place. I am very happy with them so far.
