An excellent fit!
I have lived here for six years and found it to be a very comfortable environment at this stage of my life. The staff is outstanding! They are friendly, hard working and make us each feel that we are important. Their performance during the trying times of Covid was unbelievable. Individual attention is provided in dining, transportation and activities when appropriate.
The location of the Creekside provides convenient access to local medical, vision, and dental clinics. There are numerous nearby opportunities for shopping, dining, banking as well as personal grooming.
I feel very fortunate to have Creekside as my current home. It’s an excellent fit!
About the facility The Creekside
The Creekside delivers an upscale retirement experience at its senior living community in Woodinville, Washington. The community is surrounded by lush greenery and can be enjoyed on the lovely outdoor patios. Bright and airy indoor common areas make it easy for residents to enjoy their favorite activities, whether it’s pampering themselves at the on-site salon, working out in the state-of-the-art fitness center, or settling down with a great book in the cozy library.
The professional staff is available to provide assistance with transportation services, light housekeeping, and 24-hour emergency maintenance. The pet-friendly community offers beautifully designed one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans with emergency alert systems, full-size kitchenettes, and individually controlled air conditioning and heating. An excellent fit!

Good food here. You have house keeping that cleans your place weekly and changes your sheets and washes your sheets and towels. The activity program is great! Lots of games, live entertainment, and outings. I’ve made lots of friends here.

Creekside is home for me!
I have lived here at the Creekside for 2 years. I enjoy my apartment, very spacious, weekly housekeeping is awesome! The activity program is run by 2 great gals, they make life fun for us! The food is great too, so much to choose from!

....very accommodating to the wishes of the residents. For example they know what kind of dresssing each person likes on their salad.

Review for The Creekside
It is a terrible place to live. The only reason I stayed there as long as I did was because I was uncomfortable moving during COVID until I was vaccinated and then I had to find a new community. They only took COVID precautions during the first few months of the pandemic, and even then they didn't follow all recommended guidelines for long term care communities. They never enforced masking among their staff let alone the residents, so I didn't feel safe leaving my apartment.
The food program is too restrictive. Even though they advertised all day dining from a special menu, that was only actually available to residents of the main building that housed the main kitchen. They couldn't deal with special dietary needs at all, and the quality of the food was inconsistent. There was constant turnover of the staff in all departments including the executive director. A few of the staff tried very hard to do a good job while others were downright disrespectful , poorly trained, and didn't care about doing a good job at all. They advertised activities, but there was no variety and it wasn't safe to participate anyway since nobody wore masks. The property is located on a major road that was the main route between Highway 522 and downtown Woodinville, so there was constant loud traffic noise from trucks and commuters. I do not recommend that you point your clients there at all!

As an MBK Senior Living community, we believe in continuous improvement and listening to our residents. We're sorry to hear this was your experience and that we didn't have an opportunity to address your specific concerns while you were with us. During the pandemic, we followed CDC and Public Health guidelines, which often changed based on current cases and concerns. The safety of our residents and staff was always a priority -- and masking was enforced when called for by health officials. The pandemic did impact or alter some of our offerings for a time. However, as we put the pandemic further into our rearview mirror, we are happy to return services and programs to what they once were -- or better!

The perfect place for our Mom
Creekside is a beautiful small community. My mom moved there in November 2020. She loved the staff and residents. Creekside is well taken care of the property. If my mom needed her trash taken out, they gladly helped. She had a cleaning service weekly. We experienced many excellent staff that were so helpful in many different ways. My mom required modified specifications for the bathroom of her apartment that we made on request. If she needed help, she asked, and her needs were always met with kindness. Creekside has a lovely staff. My mom didn't require daily needs to help her, but if she ever needed something, they were there to help. My mom didn't eat at the property daily, but enjoyed to ability to order to her room or go to the dining room. My mom loved playing Bingo and attending the Bible study groups when she was able to attend. Assisted living is expense but we felt that we got a good value for all of the amenities available.

Of all the places we toured, this one was my favorite. It was a very nice place. The food was good, and the staff was great. They continued to keep in touch with us after we had been in. The rooms were large, and it was clean.

Amazing experience in a short phone call
We called to get some information about options for my mother. In a short phone call, the person I spoke to was able to understand our needs and my mother's available resources very well, and provided information on various options to meet those needs. She was able to clearly explain a number of things I wasn't aware of that will help us with both short- and long-term planning for my mother's care. She did not limit the conversation to just what Creekside has to offer, but demonstrated a very high level of knowledge of senior care and support. I've spoken to several people at various places, and I highly recommend you call Creekside when considering your options.

This community is having activities and are not adhering to covid safety.
They are not requiring masks to be warned and are not enforcing it.
They do not have a director right now and we have rotating directors to cover our facility.
With covid, our food is not good, there is no variety. I can't eat half of what I get because it's so bad
I would not recommend this community.

Wonderful senior living! Great staff and care!
I am so impressed with Creekside! My mother moved in to her Creekside apartment in the summer of 2020. Even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, they have taken the utmost of care and precaution to make her move-in seamless.
I've had people ask me since whether I was worried that mom moved during these uncertain times. My answer is "Absolutely not!" and I feel actually better because I know she is not trying to navigate all of this alone. She has an abundance of above & beyond assistance at Creekside including safe screening policies, meal delivery if she likes, transportation options and much more. As I live out of state, I would have been very worried if she was still living on her own -- and she feels the same.
The Creekside apartments are beautifully appointed and the help they give residents to move in and get oriented is top-notch. My mom had moved out of her home of 50+ years (so it was a big change!) and she continually tells me how happy she is at Creekside, how she loves the staff and all they have to offer her so she can actually relax and enjoy each day. She also has thoroughly enjoyed (safely) interacting with other residents which is a plus as seniors are currently having to isolate at every turn. This peace of mind, and again knowing the extensive safety measure they are taking to protect their residents, is why I highly recommend Creekside.

I relocated my mother two years ago from a Midwest townhouse to the Creekside in Woodinville, WA. The last two years has been great! She loves the facility, the care and concern from the dedicated staff, and the security of being with other friends and family. The programs and activities provided give her a variety of options and other interests to pursue. No matter what the problem or the emergency that may arise, the staff has been prompt in their response and notification to family members. This place is simply ONE BIG FAMILY. Thanks to all of them for making my mom feel safe, secure and loved.
