About Safeview Manor FTAH
Safeview Manor FTAH is a residential care home located in historic Amityville, NY, a village in the town of Babylon in Suffolk County. Hometown to Annie Oakley and the site of a bestselling novel and series of movies, this small village boasts many nature walks, parks, beaches, a Village Triangle and gazebo where summer concerts are popular. The North Amityville Senior Center is an enjoyable place for our residents with nutrition programs, exercise options, arts and craft groups and social gatherings on a regular basis.
Our group home setting is ideally suited for seniors with Alzheimer's or dementia. Our caregivers are specifically trained to help with daily activities such as showering, medication management and dressing, as well as behavioral issues. We encourage our residents to live as independently as possible. Wandering residents are monitored to keep them safe on our secured property. Our staff is on-call 24 hours a day to ensure our residents' needs are timely met. A visiting nurse and podiatrist regularly attend to our seniors and we are close to medical attention should the need arise.
In addition to a secure setting, we also offer:
- Meals and snacks
- Laundry and housekeeping
- Activities designed to keep our seniors engaged and inspired
- Resident parking
- Transportation to errands, appointments and shopping
- Common areas for visiting, watching TV or playing games
At Safeview Manor our residents live in comfort and peace in a supportive community that respects their need for independence and freedom, while keeping them safe and secure.
