We encourage residents to maintain as much independence as possible. Since we are small we can have a program that serves the residents needs in the moment; meaning you can sleep in if you want have a late breakfast, have an early morning hike and watch the sun rise or go see King Tut. We have been known to have residents that can do a lot for themselves, are fun, easy going (we all like dogs - no cats) While provide 24 hr care and supervision, meals and requirements of the Great State of California . . . people who live here have said, "You know this feels just like Home" "I feel better than I have felt in years". I credit my Mom's and Noni's good Italian food, but my great team would say it's her Grandma's Thai food or her Mom's Mexican food. We make recipes our residents have and like. Also we make sure you work up an appetite with entertainment and exercise and excursions, including but not limited to all your doctor's appointments.
