About
Pioneer Adult Family Home LLC
Pioneer Adult Family Home, a nursing home alternative, was established in February 1996 by the present owner/operator, who has 30 years of experience caring for the handicapped and elderly.
Richland is in the southeast Washington desert, and is part of the Tri-Cities area. It is lo-cated on the mighty Columbia River where the Yakima and Snake rivers join it. Though desert, it is a major agriculture area of the U.S. growing a great variety of crops due to irrigation from these rivers. There are beautiful parks along the riverfront.
Pioneer Home is on a quiet street with easy freeway access. Shopping and a hospital are close by. A senior center and other day centers are available. Our entryway is nicely landscaped with two waterfalls. Back deck is available for eating or watching the sunset.
Resident comments: S.B. says, “I’ve lived here for 8 years. Everybody treats ya good here. I like the good food. It’s a good place to live.” G.S., “The people are nice, the people are good; it’s comfortable.” And B.Y. says, “They let me keep my animals. It’s friendly and loving. They let me say Grace at mealtime. They let me have my freedom of religion.”
