We love Pebble Creek. Residents are v...
We love Pebble Creek. Residents are very nice. Its pretty clean. Public restrooms at entrance could use a little polishing up.
What surprised me the most is that the new manager who took over several weeks ago has banned all Christmas displays in the public areas, even though the residents love decorating for Christmas. The reason given is that someone MAY find them "offensive" even though nobody has complained and when pressed, all the new manager could say was well, nobody has complained but they MIGHT. At the residents' meeting 3 weeks ago, a show of hands was asked for and not a single person raised their hand indicating they would be offended at Christmas trees displayed in the common areas. This is very disappointing and we are surprised that the new managers would keep residents from participating in life long traditions especially when nobody has complained and even if they did, why does one complaint ruin it for everyone?

The apartments are nice until something breakdown and then it's very hard to get maintenance or anyone else in the office to do anything. The office hours states that they are opened Monday, Wednesday and Friday but most of the time there's no one there and if they are she sits in the office with the blinds close as if she doesn't want to be bothered. I moved to another location but they really need people in the office who can work full time. The person there runs two apartments complex but comes to work when they feel like it. I would not recommend this place simply because how slack they run the apartments and take care of the tenants. The reason older senior move to places like this is because they are not able or want to take care of their homes.

Over all a very nice place.
Really nice place. I love that they have games that are played during the week days and at night time. They have a computer room I can go to if I wish, and a laundry room that I can wash and dry clothes.
Also they have a beauty shop there inside the building so I never have to leave to get my hair done.
The apartments are very clean and lots of space. Overall I really like the apartments.

Maintenance isn't very quick to respond
They have lots of activities going and we've joined a couple of them but we're not people that go to everything. I guess the management is only here two and a half days a week and in that, its usually only one and a half days. The maintenence, in my mind, is questionable in that it seems to take a long time for stuff to get done unless you pound them. The other thing is, we've lived in an apartment before, years ago, and they fixed things now, not "later" or "in a week." Here, it seems like the painting in the hallways they need to touch up, we've been here for several months and it's still not done. I don't know if they don't see it or if they don't care but personally, I feel they could do better. It's where you just live with it and hope someone gets a kick in the pants sometime. I do think it's a good place, once of the nice things is that there's an elevator and at our age we don't do stairs.
