Nummer House

The Nummer House is a licensed home serving a population of six adults. The home is located on a quiet street not far from a mall and shopping area.

The Nummer house is a large two story home with brick exterior. The home has a covered front porch that could be used by residents. It has a large fenced in back yard that will be used by residents for recreational activities, a two car garage, a closed in back sun room with surrounding windows on the first floor. It also had a large living room that has a fire place that is used for the TV room, a large dining area to fit our population, a full kitchen and 3 spacious bedrooms, a full bathroom with tub and shower.

The second floor has two large bedrooms, a kitchen which is used for our craft room and snack area, There is a large deck off the kitchen that is used by residents as long as staff is present, it has a railing around it and a gate placed at the top of the stairs to safeguard the residents. It also has a full bathroom with tub and shower. Each bedroom is properly furnished with room for residents personal mementos.

The home has a basement with laundry area, a bathroom with shower, large room with fire place that is used for an activities room and exercise room, an office and storage rooms. There is an exit door that leads directly outside.

Program Goals:
To take reasonable action to insure the health, safety and well-being of our residents.

To protect our residents from physical harm, humiliation, intimidation and social, moral, financial and personal exploration while on the homes premises, while under supervision of the home or staff.

To enhance development of personal and social skills.

To delay from going into a more restricted environment.
