It is the goal of Meadow Care Assisted Living Facility (ALF) to provide a caring environment for those that need assisted living, round the clock care, and living support. Meadow Care ALF is committed to providing a safe and secure home environment for patients. Meadow Care ALF provides the assistance seniors need with all of the independence they desire. Meadow Care Management ensures that the facility complies with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning assisted living services. Meadow Care ALF is an adult assisted living facility providing housing for elderly persons. Services will include:
- Housekeeping, Laundry
- Medication management
- Meals (Three a day with two snacks)
- Transportation Arrangements
- Nursing Care Assistance i.e. personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting
- Entertainment, Activities, and more
Service contracts will be provided to the residents offering a wide-range of services tailored specifically to meet each individual's need. Depending on the level of care provided, the living arrangements range from semi-private to private rooms. All rooms include a bed, bedside table, lamp, chair, dresser, and closet. Bath towels and bed linens are also provided for each resident. Meadow Care ALF, assisted living options offers personalized assistance, supportive services, and compassionate care in a professionally managed, carefully designed community setting. Our goal is to focus on wellness by keeping our residents as independent as possible and providing a tailored plan of care.
Residents will enjoy our beautifully appointed living spaces, delicious meals, social activities, and personalized care. The facility is locates approximately three (3) miles from Martin Memorial Emergency Center. The facility provides on - call Physicians and other members of the Health Care team that delivers care to residents in the comfort of their home. It is in close proximity to Pharmacies, Urgent care Center, Churches and Parks. Meadow Care ALF treats each resident as an individual meeting their unique needs and preferences. We meet with each resident and family to conduct an assessment prior to move-in and at regular intervals after move-in to ensure the need for ongoing assistance and support.
The Principal Owner / Administrator of Meadow Care Assisted Living Facility is Ms. Althea Wilmot, RN, MSN who has over 15 plus years of cumulative experience as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Educator, and Paramedic in the Health Care industry and has demonstrated abilities in the management and operation of running a senior care assisted living facility. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 15 years and enjoys caring for patients and advocate for safe patient care. She is an experienced paramedic and an Emergency room nurse, and providing care and comfort to patients are her passion. Althea is able to provide her staff with all the training necessary to maintain patient safety and satisfaction. She is a certified BLS and ACLS instructor. She has completed the Assisted Living Facility (ALF) administrator core competency training to own and operate the company. She has several professional relationships with nurses, physicians, social workers, dietitians, case workers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Ms. Wilmot has mentors and experienced administrators that will be on call when she is unavailable. Our facility has been licensed since October 2015 and our staff members have over 15 years combined experience working in ALFs with seniors.
