About Lemarsh Home Care
The home is on a single floor. It has two separate living areas, offering care to frail older people. There are two sitting areas and a dining area with a kitchen which can accom-modate up to 6 people.
Here you will find facilities to make snacks, tea and coffee for you and your visitors. Visi-tors are welcome anytime.
You have a choice of a private single room or a shared room. Shower rooms and bathrooms are close to all bedrooms.
We also provide a business center with wire-less network service where a computer is available for residents.
The home offers a lovely private garden area with patio.
Food: The home offers a nutritional diet with a varied menu. Hot and cold snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. Fresh fruit, bread, etc. are readily available to you at all times.
If you need a special diet for medical, cultural or religious reasons, this can be arranged.
Personal Care: Hands-on personal care with bathing, dressing & grooming.
Housekeeping: Beds and linens are freshened weekly or as often as needed. A laundry service is provided for personal clothing, bedding and towels as part of the service. Dry cleaning can be organized for you (extra charge).
Personal assistance with daily living tasks is also provided, such as cooking, meal preparation and housecleaning.
Health and safety: All visitors must sign in and out of the home using the visitor’s book as part of our fire regulations. Staff will ensure that everyone is familiar with the fire evacua-tion procedures which are displayed throughout the home.
The home has a security alarm system in place.
Medication: Supervision, ordering and assis-tance in taking prescribed and
over-the-counter medication
in accordance with physician’s
instructions.
Transportation: Plan, arrange and/or pro-vide transportation to medical and dental ap-pointments.
Activities: Planned entertainment & activities are arranged within the home on an ongoing basis.
Social, cultural & religious beliefs: It is important that your social, cultural and reli-gious beliefs or faith are known and respected by staff and that you are given the opportunity and support you may need to practice your be-liefs.
