Joy Assisted Living Home,Inc. " Joy Home" was established and licensed by the State of Georgia March 2005 to care for Elderly Consumers. Joy Home is the vision of the owner," Joyce McDougal" who took care of her brother. He acquired two tramatic head injuries. She was challenged to find the compassionate type of care that she had envisioned for her brother, so she created it for him. The environment felt good, the food was good, the home was emaculate, he was always groomed and all other needs were being met. She no longer had to see him drugged to have a place to care for him. He had a quality to his life at last. And most important he had compassionate people who cared about him being safe and monitored.

This is still the belief that the owner has for everyone that she admits to her Facility. She carefully interviews new applicants, because when she commits to care for a consumer, they get he best that she has to offer. And she makes sure that the consumers receive the best from the staff of Joy Home as well.

Joy Home strongly believes that a small community serves the needs of those Consumers who really require more one-on-one care than our larger facilities can provide. Not decreasing staff, but hiring the right staff. Training that staff to perform their job to the highest expectations. Administering Compassionate,Quality Oversight!
