In recent years we have witnessed an increase of women in the work force, more single parent families and separation of the extended family in pursuit of employment. Our population of senior citizens is constantly growing. Hospital stays are becoming shorter and patients are sent home earlier than in the past. Patients at home require more care and supervision. Also many elderly people are now living on their own and want to remain at home.

At HOME CARE NETWORK, we feel that these changes in our society have produced a need for a special person--a "Caregiver". A Caregiver is someone who has the compassion, understanding, patience and skills to care for the needs of others. We believe that being a Caregiver is an admirable profession.
