We support a client-centered approach to establishing care. By involving Clients and their families, we gain a strong understanding of the needs for each Client. We support them as individuals and establish care plans that are unique to each Client's needs and preferences. We focus on supporting Clients with their Activities of Daily Living, including but not limited to, personal care, meal preparation, shopping, laundry and medication monitoring. We are able to coordinate transportation for Clients to medical appointments or for leisure time. Caregivers also ensure that Clients are following their exercise regime, while monitoring safety.
Our services are available on an hourly or Live-In basis. Hourly services are scheduled with consistency to ensure the same Caregiver attends their Client at the same time and same day every week. With consistent blocks of time, Caregivers are able to establish and build trust, while developing a healthy relationship. Our Live-In care provides two Caregivers who share a weekly schedule, residing in the Client's home and participating in all activities that Clients benefit from. Live-In Caregivers manage all Activities of Daily Living and personal commitments for our clients. Both types of service ensure our Caregivers utilize our Balanced Care Method, which focuses on 5 key areas for care: Healthy Diet, Physical Activity, Sharp Mind, Social Ties and Calmness & Purpose.
There are many characteristics that set us apart from other companies within our industry. Our Case Management means regular and consistent involvement and ensures our clients are well-cared for, indicating our commitment to our clients and their families. Regular communication with Caregivers ensures we are being informed about changes to health and social status.
Our Caregivers are trained in our unique proprietary program, Cognitive Therapeutics Method. This is an activity-based cognitive intervention program designed to delay the onset of new and existing symptoms in individuals with mild to moderate Dementia. Through this program, Clients receive one-on-one mental stimulation, improving quality of life for Seniors by enhancing mental acuity, which assists in slowing the progression of symptoms associated with cognitive decline.
Another one of our major differentiators is our proprietary psychological assessment, which was developed to screen and evaluate personality characteristics of candidates, such as conscientiousness, honesty and compassion. Upon hiring, our Caregivers are provided with internal training opportunities through Home Care Assistance University. It provides Caregivers with the opportunity to learn how to communicate with individuals with Dementia and to watch for signs of stroke. On average, we hire 1 in 25 applicants, ensuring the best possible Caregivers to support our Clients.
These combined tenets, propel us further because of the uniqueness it brings within the home care industry. We are committed to working together with loved ones to deliver the best possible care for every client.
