Holt Friendly Home opened its doors in 1978. It was owned and operated by its founder, Ronald Hensley until June of 2008. After purchasing the home in March of 2009, my husband and I found that we had some big shoes to fill. Mr. Hensley had a wonderful rapport with everyone he had contact with, and he had created a very caring reputation.

Since taking over Holt Friendly Home, we have continued to keep the trust of Mr. Hensley's contacts, and we have formed several new relationships with different organizations. My staff of six take pride in there work and in our residents, providing them with the highest quality of dignified and compassionate care.

Holt Friendly Home is located in a peaceful country setting, yet it is only minutes from Holt and Lansing. We are also conveniently located within ten minutes of Ingham Regional Medical Center and Sparrow Hospital.

Our residents enjoy the coziness of our thirty three hundred square foot ranch-style home. We offer 8 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms. We have a large common area, plus a smaller sitting area. We also have a hair dressing station and a hairdresser that comes in every four to five weeks. Our residents enjoy three home-cooked meals a day, along with several homemade desserts a week.
