Definitely recommended, they are wonderful!
I think Hampton Manor Belleview is great, the people are great. The care is great, everything is great. They are wonderful. I have been up there twice to have lunch with my loved one. The food was good, and obviously meant for people in that age bracket so they did not need knives to cut up stuff. The staff that I have met and talked to have been very very kind very polite and very accommodating to the residents of that place. I would highly recommend Hampton Manor. From the manager of this place to the people that just sweep the floor, they have been perfect. The place is clean as a whistle and looks like it was just painted yesterday. The grounds outside are maintained as best as any other facility of this nature. Overall, I think I made a good decision and if I had to do it all over again I would make the same choice. I would recommend this place to myself as well as other people.

My Tour Experience with Hampton Manor Belleview
The community seemed very old school nursing home. There were dark hallways, no real outside area. We didn't see very many staff on the tour. We didn't get to see the rooms. The dining room seemed max capacity of people. Overall it felt a little disorganized.

Tour before committing and then tour again before moving in. You never know how care will be until your loved one is living in the community.
I'm not sure if they have enough staff to make sure the residents aren't wondering and to properly care for the residents.

It may be good for others - but it wasn't good for us
It wasn't a good experience for us.
It felt like they wanted us in and they did everything they could to get us in fast, but they didn't make sure it was the right fit. We spent a lot of money on moving her in and getting her things in there, but I don't think they did anything to help keep her there. There should have been more time spent to make sure it's a good fit. They called me all the time to tell me about the things my mom did, almost like she was a bad child, but they are a memory care facility and she has dementia. Her behavior and the things she was doing were on par with having dementia. One lady called me and said, "She's up my butt all the time" - and those were her exact words. I explained that she's nervous; she follows people around because this is new for her. I don't think I should have to explain to a memory care facility how to handle someone with dementia.
It may be a good fit for other people, but I feel that they want them drugged up and sitting there.

in 2019 this facility has reduced the quality of care significantly in treating my brother in law. Lack of communications, understaffed, and lack of training. Couldnt regularily cut hair, shave, cut finger nails and more important report medical issues.
Twice he developed urinary infections because of hygiene issues.
Then they increased is room rate by 80%

My brother has resided at Hampton Manor Belleview due to dementia for a couple months. He has been well taken care of. The staff is very attentive, caring, and very helpful to the family. The director and staff has experience dealing with people with this disease, which can be difficult. They have the patience and understanding. Thank you for all you do!!!

My mom lived at Hampton Manor Belleview after we were unable to meet her needs at home. Shortly after she moved there, the on-call doctor noticed that a couple of her medication doses needed to be lowered. Her health quickly started improving after he changed her meds and now she is living back home with us. We are so grateful for Hampton Manor; Because of them my mom has her quality of life back.

Excellent Staff!!
I have no complaints about how things are going for my loved one at this community. The staff have all been very helpful and made sure to accommodate my loved ones needs as best as they can. They are very good in stressful situations and I am very impressed with the management team. Overall very pleased with this place and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I don’t have any problems with them. I don’t their food is very good. Nutritional wise – they could do better. I’d like them to serve more vegetables that aren’t canned. I’m not happy with laundry service. Sometimes I think my loved one’s clothes were washed, but without soap. I think they could do more exercises.

Angels work for "a place for Mom"
We have now placed my stepmother in Hampton Manor 24th Road, in Ocala Florida. They are still undergoing positive changes in the care of Altzheimers patients. I'm very happy that they provide care based on need but the financial burden is non existent! When our private funds run out they have the Medicaid waiver program. We no longer have to be concerned for the future caring of my stepmother. They even have the Hospice care covered. The peace of mind is priceless!! Going thru this journey has been emotional to say the least. The service that "A place for Mom" has given to me and my family is so awesome. ( I know that their staff are True ANGELS.

I toured this senior living community first 4 years ago for my Mother in law..Not a good fit for her..
In the mean time we started looking for my mom, It is a perfect fit as she has some loss of memory, she is in a room that she can see people passing and she enjoys that..

That was nice, older and completely redone. It was clean. We went on a day that they were having an open house. The staff was really good about answering our questions. One gal stopped and gave us an individual tour. Everything was OK, but it was too big for mom.
