Every detail of our care --the staff, our homes, the food, medication supervision, activities and more, is based on this caring approach.

Specializing in the care of residents with dementia/ Alzheimer’s, you’ll find that our homes are designed not only with the security features necessary for a safe and secure environment, but that our homes also incorporate soft and soothing interior design features which provide a calming environment. Our beautiful homes are spacious and have a maximum of 6 residents, with a high caregiver to resident ratio. We have extensive experience with Hospice care, and each of our staff members is trained in dementia care. Desert Cottages strives to provide the best possible care for the elderly, and our goal is to make our residents as comfortable and fulfilled as possible in the latter stages of their lives.

At Desert Cottages, we strive to enhance and improve the lives of our residents in every way possible, providing them with excellent, individualized care, and treating them with kindness and respect. Mobility is a concern of ours, and with that in mind, we customize exercises for each resident to ensure they keep their independence as long as possible. All of this is achieved through a specialized heart healthy/ low glycemic diet, in conjunction with individualized low-impact exercise plans, with daily activities designed for social and mental stimulation, and with loving attention provided through professional care. By incorporating these specialized approaches in our care, we are able to ensure the overall health and happiness of our residents.
