Have selected this facility for my Mom. Great staff, programs/activities, amenities, facility, food, and location. She has been accepted into the enhanced assisted living program.

The whole process of getting in was a very smooth at Brookdale Cordova. The staff there are real friendly. I am really happy with this facility. I cant think of anything at this time to have them improve on.

The only thing I could say, and I'm not sure, I'm just hearing from my mom, she is just saying there is not a lot of variety with the food. If you are not happy with the options then there is not a lot of alternative choices.

They do an absolutely fabulous job at Emeritus at Buckingham Estates, and I would recommend them to anyone! The staff here is extraordinary! They're friendly, professional, and very proactive when it comes to care. They don't wait for things to happen, they suggest things to you that they think will improve your loved ones happiness and health. After having some experience at other communities what really impresses me here is how even the administrative staff get involved on a personal level with the residents, they obviously really care! The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the grounds are beautiful, it's like a garden! It's a small facility, all on one level, which was important to us due to Mom's limited mobility. I really couldn't be happier with the decision we made placing her here, and again I would highly recommend them to anyone!

They are doing a fantastic job at Emeritus at Buckingham Estates, we are really very pleased with them. The care that they provide has been excellent from day one, and I continue to be impressed each time I visit. The staff are friendly and professional, and they do a great job looking out for the residents. I highly recommend them!

We're very happy with how things are going at Emeritus at Cordova! The staff, here, are wonderful, they are so, so kind and just have such a sweet disposition! It's a very nice, well kept, clean facility, and they take such good care of their residents. We're very happy we found them, and would recommend them to others!

Attractive and clean. Wide corridors with hand rails. Nursing assistants were very friendly. Nice room with large closet; microwave and mini-fridge included; shower seat included; grab bars in bathroom; basic cable included. Each person gets a call button to wear. Many activities. Daddy would like that Bellevue comes to hold church services there. They thought he'd most benefit by being in the Assisted Living section, but if he worsened, he could be moved to the Memory section easily. 2 Memory sections, which are locked. (And looking even further into the future, if he worsened so much to need a nursing home, they could move him next door to Appling Wood.)The person I talked to also said they could help with the VA application.

It's truly a very very special place. The staff is like family. They are so caring and never once to do think that it's a job for them. They're very involved with all the residents and they know them all by name. I think that's what I like about them the most - it is a place where the staff is very much involved. It's extremely clean and they have a lot of activities. Everything that you could want for your parent or loved one to experience when they have memory issues, they do everything. They take the residents out to lunches and to see gardens. They also have exercise games and bingo. They have people come in to sing and perform. The reason I chose Buckingham Estates is that it's entirely for Alzheimer's and memory care residents so it's not a locked ward or floor for those people. It's very warm and welcoming.

I would share with others what I enjoyed here. The food is halfway decent; the portions were small and could have been improved, but it wasn't all that bad. They had a variety deserts for lunch and supper which was nice. You could always asks for seconds if there wasn't enough. The dining staff worked very hard. I had a good relationship with one of the aides. As soon as she got to work, she would come in and help me take a shower. Which is unheard of. I liked the way she worked and that she'd get me out of the way. She would also help me take showers with the other aide wouldn't help me, but the one who wouldn't help me is no longer there. Everybody cared about each other. They had ice cream everyday at 2:30pm. The dining room was very bright and had big windows to look outside which was very nice. When the weather was nice, we could sit outside under the shade in the sunshine on the patio. They were good about giving medications, I'm a nurse so I pay particular attention to things. The staff were extremely helpful in taking me to and from meals when I couldn't use the wheelchair. They had a movie night, which hardly anyone went to. I personally went about twice. They would have someone come in to sing once every weekend, but there were probably about three occasions when they didn't show up. There was nothing for us to do, so we just sat around and waited until we felt like leaving, which is to no fault of the community. When you're looking forward to something, you don't understand why some people just cancel. They had some high-school kids that were apart of a service oriented group who came and shared with us. They sang with us and played instruments on Veterans Day. They also honored the Veterans that were there too. They have a shuttle service, there's a bus that I could take to my physical therapy appointments at no cost. There was no shuttle service on Wednesday, which is fine because there were four other days of the week. I would recommend Heather Heights of Pittsford to others.

Overall my loved one's respite stay went very well. They made the process very easy for us. I interviewed them, was able to pick out her room, and they were able to accommodate. I had no issues whatsoever. She had no complaints about the food, and she tends to complain about lots of things. I think the cost was very reasonable as well.

I had a very good experience. The staff was friendly and cared about you. The residents cared about the other residents a lot as well. There was a lot of friendship built between the residents. If you needed transportation to appointments, Heather Heights would take you at no cost, and if you were in a wheelchair, their van could accommodate that. I though the facility was very nice. I'm glad I went there, and I would go back there if I needed to.

We were looking for respite care and a lot of places were not doing respite care during covid, but Brompton Heights was. They came highly recommend by a family friend who had their loved one here and it is an absolutely beautiful facility. The memory care unit is where my mother stayed and I think it is often overlooked. I would recommend to others looking.

The community has been excellent, it so far has exceeded our expectations. The staff members are just outstanding.

I had a unique situation with my mom and they were very on the ball. She has been in more than one nursing home, and Devon House was by leaps and bounds the best of them all. They actually listened to everything I had to say here and listened to my concerns. Devon house had more skilled nursing and we had more interaction with the medical professionals. I have to give credit to the rehab guy here, he was very persistent with helping my mother. I met all staff members here multiple times as I was in and out and they were wonderful. I have a friend and I showed him the pictures of Devon House and he was blown away, he said it was nicer than his apartment. The care was imminently better at Devon house than at the other places my mom was at. The food is amazing here, it is actually real, nutritious, fresh food. They even do cookouts with the families. They had lots of fun activities for the residents as well such as crafts and concerts.

Our loved one is well respected, and cared for with the utmost courtesy. She feels safe and involved. The activities are geared toward the population. The young people who visit from various churches and organization add a multi level dimension to the residents. As a friend, I always feel welcomed when I visit. Many of the staff have become more then caretakers to me. These young people, both men and women, truly care about the residents and their families. The caring and kindness they share is contagious. We feel very fortunate to have our loved one in the care of Forest Hill Heights.

They offer a lot of daily activities and mom has started participating in some of them. She likes the food and they do offer healthy options. The community is clean. They offer a higher level of care and I would recommend this community.

The Best Place for your Loved One. My Aunt Velma Clay was at Brookdale only a short time but the care and communication was more than I could ask for. The People at Brookdale really care!!!! Thanks Brookdale for helping me through the tough times!!!

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Brookdale Cordova! The staff here is friendly and professional, and the facility is clean and well kept. They're doing a great job taking care of my loved one!

We wanted a place for mom that could provide a higher level of assisted care, should that prove necessary. The previous care facility was not a happy experience. Heather Heights was a welcome contrast. Before deciding to come, we had two excellent tours conducted by very friendly and helpful staff. Mom has been here for just over a month, and we have had no cause for complaint yet. The environment is pleasant and bright, the staff consistently friendly, kind and helpful , the rooms very nice and decently furnished, the food quite good, the service fine, and the dinning and other accommodations fine as well. The social environment of the residents was far better than our last experience. Also, I believe my mother will get very good care here. We are satisfied with our choice and enjoy visiting.
