Independent Living

An Independent Living Community allows residents the chance to continue to live their active lives while making sure their care requirements have been met. Food preparation, recreational activities and housekeeping responsibilities are handled for you while you are unrestricted to use your time as you wish. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Typically consisting of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies vary between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to enlist the services of private medical professionalls, they may always do so. There are an assortment of expenditures and advantages to balance while deciding on an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are included in your service plan: wellness program, housekeeping, move-in fee, meals, cable TV, private phone, parking, and utilities. The conveniences that pertain to independent living include concierge services, security guards, laundry service, community activities, transportation, private rental hall, beauty salon & barber shop, and healthcare center.
