Our loved one passed away at the community due to covid. When they allowed my siblings to go grab her things they noticed her newly bought clothes with tags on them were thrown into the closet, and there were old cookies in the cabinets. Her mental capacity had gone downhill very quickly, and she broke her hip while she was there. They said a worker was going to come around and hang up her pictures in her room, but they were never hung up. Ir we had access to see our loved one, we believe this would of not continued. There were people we met and talked through over the phone that we really liked , they were compassionate and understanding. However, when we spoke with the executive director after our mothers passing, she never expressed her condolences.

It's a small community and the staff seems to be able to offer more attention to the residence due to this. The room sizes are average, my mom loves the food here, and offer a good variety. I would recommend this community to others.

I think that most of the staff really cared for the residents and it showed. I really liked the way the community was self contained, its lay out, and the security of building. She wasn't terribly impressed with the food but they did offer variety At the end, when she wasn't eating a lot, they went out of the way to made homemade milkshakes for her. I thought it was a really nice size, not too big . I got the impression that the caregivers saw her as an individual person not "just another resident". It was the right place for her to be at that time in her life.
